Fresh Steps...Watching my babies grow up.

My youngest baby started walking a few days ago. I am such a proud mommy that I haven't been able to concentrate on much of anything else. It's really cute because he doesn't bend his knees and he looks like a tiny little frankenstein walking around the living room floor.
Not only has he started walking, but he has this amazing facination with ducks. He just sees a duck and starts quacking. It's soo cute!
My middle son, is learning more everyday. He talks like a little adult. And has some of the most amazing ideas to use a box for. He has mountains of toys in his bedroom, but finds more to do with a cardboard box than he ever does with any of his toys. It's so neat to watch him and see how his little imagination works. From a motorcycle to a choo choo train, that box has been everything in between.
My oldest son, I haven't seen him in over a year. But I get updates on him through my grandfather. He just turned 8 last month. They are wanting to move him up a couple of grades, bcz he is finishing his work long before the other kids even get started on theirs. He is reading some books on high school levels and his artistic skills are through the roof. He is learning to play piano which I am particularly proud of.
I wish I could tell him how proud I am of him, and how much it joys me to hear all of his wonderful accomplishments.
I have brilliant children. Even if I fail in everything that I do, I still have great kids. And that counts for something.
I just wanted to share that with everyone.

Thanks for sharing..as mothers our children are our lives! I understand your being so proud you feel like you could burst! The baby learning to walk,a really big milestone for such a little guy. The middle one with such an imagination, when he is old enough get him some legos, you'll be amazed at what he will come up with. I know I was with my son. lol And you're oldest, I cant imagine the heartache you feel by not having seen him in over a year. He sounds like a very inteligent little boy, reading at high school level and learning to play the piano,WOW!Posted 04-18-2008 at 10:15 AM by kdshaw
