I have been told that the ltco forum is a somewhat new addition to FLR.
My question is how did you get referals before it existed?
The ltco is so competitive, its hard to get a referal from it. I would like to see us (traders) be able to bump our threads more than twice a day. With the stickies at the top, its hard to get our threads seen by newbies in the Paying for referals forum. Would that be a possibility? Most new people will not go thru that many pages before they stop and find someone to work with. Its just a thought. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

The LTCO was around in the beginning of FLR and then was removed. It was brought back several months ago. I, for one, do not care for it and do not use it at all. I do well I think, getting a couple of new referrals each day by posting around the forum and helping when I can. I do not like the idea of racing to be first to post in an LTCO thread and feel like its all a bit much. I know others do well there... it's just not my style.
As for having more bumps I dont think it would help. Why? Just think everyone would be bumping that much more and your thread would disappear from the first page even faster. It has been suggested in the past, but I dont see it changing anytime soon.
The best advice I can give is to post around the forum, make sure you get verified and buy a sticky first chance you get.
    Lots of luck to you!!

hey kel... i agree with what lori said about geting verified...the LTCO use to be a good thing when i first started... back then we were allowed to send a welcome note to new people that posted there and I did very well with it for sometime. unfortunlately there were alot of people that went way over board with this and the first contact rule was put in place. when it was gone for those few months i still got trades from around the forum. but now that it is back i dont use it that often.. seems to be more of a headache then it is worth . I was getting more referrals when the LTCO was gone then now... Also we use to only have one bump perday and then it was changed to two bumps per day... just hang in there Kel you will do ok... good luck to you

The competition is so fierce for new people to green for you that they get ambushed at every turn. I would like to see more sites and more offers on the sites so that we can keep completeing offers longer. It gets very discouraging after you have completed 10 or so trades and you dont have offers left to complete. You have no choice but to move to the next level. That next level is tough, you have to try to get people to green for you and unless your itr rating is very high or you are paying out most of what you make then its a no go. Is there anyway to level the playing field? THe mentor program from ppd is not helping any, since I became a mentor I have been assigned 3 people and that was in early November, and not one of them contacted me, I even sent a welcome email. And not one thing since, there are some out there that ppd is giving them 6-8 a month every month. Now how is that supposed to work? Anyway, I like the new three bump system, my thread gets seen more, but still no takers. I cant pay the 90% payout others pay, it would not be worth me being on flr. The point of this is to make money, not give it all away. So if anyone can help me to get more trades I would be eternally grateful. Most of us with low itr would be. We all feel like we are drowning. So if you can help please do.!! Getting desperate. Thanks

Yes, I agree. The competition is fierce! I for one have run out of offers in method 1. The "reasonable" ones at least. So it's not worth it to me to keep completing them so I need to move onto the 2nd method!
