As Good As Cash... And in some cases Better...

Everybody loves getting paid cash from freebie sites. I would venture to guess that most if not all the active traders choose the paypal option as there free gift on the sites they are working. Hey that is why most people are here on FLR is to make money.
In the last couple of months I started getting paid in giftcards instead of cash. Not on all my sites but on a few. So I wanted to share some ideas behind getting giftcards instead of cash.
The holidays are just around the corner. Believe it or not, the gift giving season is almost here. Wouldn't it be nice to give some giftcards as gifts to some friends or family members? Wouldn't your wife love a giftcard from here favorite store. Wouldn't your husband love a giftcard to Lowe’s, Home Depot, or my favorite Bass Pro Shops, or how about a giftcard for yourself. These giftcards could pay for your holiday shopping. Wouldn't it be great to have your holiday shopping done in October?
Giving is always better. I work with a lot of people in my full time job as well as many volunteers in wildlife rehab. On several occasions I have given volunteers or fellow employee’s giftcards when they have gone above and beyond what is expected. Everyone loves to be rewarded for there efforts. A giftcard is a perfect reward and thank you.
When receiving giftcards you get the full amount of the gift, in most cases. You do not have to endure the fee that comes with a paypal payment. Yea I know the paypal payment isn't all that much but I would rather get a $60 giftcard then $57.96 paypal.
If you are getting merchandise as a freebie gift, consider the giftcard instead. Now I have gotten some ipods and PSPs as gifts on freebie sites without any problems. But, what if the product you get as a gift has an issue? This is why I now get giftcards. If I want a certain gadget, I just get giftcards until I have enough to buy it at a local store. This way if I have any issue with the product I can easily return it. If you get a merchandise gift from a freebie site and it is defective, you will have the hassle of trying to return it to the owner of the site and getting a replacement that way. Some sites have a no return policy.
Some sites will mail you your giftcard or order one for you online. You must check with the site to see what there giftcard policy is. In the event that they order them online, you will need to watch your email for the giftcard notification. You can use your online giftcards for online purchases or have the online store send you a physical card so you can use them at your local store.
Giftcards are a win win!!!

I never thought of getting gift cards that's a great idea. Only bad thing is do most of the sites send them out when they are supposed to . I was just wondering, I won 2 $25 pre-paid Visa cards over a month ago (not going to say which site). They had a promo and I won 2 times, still haven't gotten them. Have you had this problem with any of them?
You do make it sound good especially with Christmas coming and me having 16 Grand kids.
Thanks
