I love trading here and have met so many wonderful people. Some days I forget about trading because I'm having too much fun chatting with other members and friends.
I also enjoy having the opportunity to help many new members find their way and get a solid start here. It is exciting to see people go from their first trade and become an experienced trader who is able to go on and help others.
This should be a safe place for all of us to have fun and make money, but be sure you are dealing with someone you can trust. Check out someone's trade rating, feedback, and posts. Also keep an eye on the lunch theft forum and be on the look out for those to steer clear of.

I learned shortly after joining FLR that helping others (without benefit of financial gain) and being kind to your fellow traders has its own rewards. And yes, I truly believe that our actions are either rewarded or punished.
I have had people I hardly know do wonderfully kind things to help me out and have tried to "pay it forward" whenever the opportunity presented itself.
It also makes this whole experience much more fun. Why spend precious time here only to be miserable.
Enjoy your time here, have fun and watch out for one another!!
