About me and why im here.

Hi everyone. My name is steven and i currently live in Dallas Tx. I was married for 5 years to the girl of my dreams and i have a very wonderful 4 yr old daughter (5 in August). The reason I am here is actually quite a sad story.
On March 12 2008 my wife passed away due to lupus. Her and my daughter both went up to NYC to be with her family as well as the medical care as doctors there know much more about lupus then the doctors do down here.
Well when she passed away it hit me hard. I was to the point in depression where i could not get out of bed. Since i could not get out of bed i didnt go to work costing me my job. When i went to NYC to bring Gabby (my daughter) home it was decided that it would be better for her to stay in NYC with her aunt seeing that i now had no way of caring for her since i had no job.
Now i am getting much better but i am still deeply depressed and it hits me hard at times. Gabby is still in NYC and i still have no job and her birthday is comming up which brings me to why i am here on FLR....
I am here to make enough money now to go to NYC for my daughters birthday and then later on to be able to make enough on here to be able to support her so i can either bring her home or i can move up there and have my sweetie back. I am wanting to make this a full time job so i can support her and still have time to spend with her.
So there ya have it....thats me and why im here!!

You'll do ok, Steven. I lost the love of my life in 1985, and I still miss her. But I thank God for the 23 years we had together, and for our daughter. And eventually, life became fun again.
