Trader to Trader STICKY stories and questions

Wooohooo....lol...I'd get more excited but given it's MsKis..lol...well, it's only to be expected:)

I've said this before and I'll say it again....folks...if you are really in this for the long haul, get stickies! Sure...and I do agree...what I got to witness from the "old days" of stickies was totally awesome, but then again, remember...it was SEVEN days long:) Ok, so that's gone and we have now the option to have 1, 2 or 3 days worth at a time. As fast as the forum has been increasing, well...lol...even I, who absolutely LOVE total chaos (am really into challenges:))...well, I'll be honest - 3 days is all I can take!

By that I mean simply this...not every sticky you have is going to be monumental, not every one earthshaking, not every sticky is going to be a hunnerd trades, BUT...the odds are in your favor so that having several stickies, you will average well...you will have made a nice profit (unless you decided to do sites at 100% without site incentive...LOL!), you will have increased your tr...and that payment for sticky is tax-deductible:) And best of all? You will have managed to make some really neat new friends and will have the pleasure of continuing to be there for them in whatever capacity...to me, that's the bestest part! Yet, I am old and the simple things in life mean the most...to me:)

All of those advantages plus at least moments of idiocy where you don't know what to do next as folks are all around you with a hunnerd questions:) lol...as always, patience, realistic expectations and a positive attitude will keep it going and win the war. As much as I thump on admin, he said one very, very wise thing that has yet to change...a sticky is only as good as YOU make it and make of it - being "up there" ain't a guarantee:)

If you're slow, romp round the forum and get your name out there; don't dwell on what you're NOT getting 'cause you really don't know what you ain't gettin! When you're going nuts, stay in that slot and make each stroke count:) Go in prepared yet hold on to those realistic expectations and above all else, be available! lol...I personally can't count the number of times I've gone to bump someone and guess what? They're not online! LOL...be there and be aware and above all else, keep smiling...it really is all good...if'n you let it be:)

That's great results, I agree, but can the really experienced traders with very high TR (eg. 100 + )
pull in a lot of trades even in 1 day, without using stickies at all..I mean I'm just wondering if quite a few ppl have ever done that.

A sticky is where you pay a certain amount to have your thread stuck to the top of the paying for referrals section for 1-3 days. It gives you more exposure.

A sticky thread is one that is "stuck" at the top of the forum it's in. In the "Paying For Referrals" section being stuck at the top gets you seen a lot more and hopefully gets you lots of new traders. Here's a link with all the info in the first post: Sticky Thread

Many traders do very well getting multiple trades daily, & some have been able to build up a high TR without stickies....but when you are stickied...it is more likely that you will get more contacts and more trades than you do when you are not stickied.
