Police in Cincinnati, Ohio, say that a trail of candy and wrappers led them to suspects of a break-in at a candy store in the downtown section of the city.
Four people have been charged with breaking and entering. One of the four also has been charged with child endangering.
Police say that one of the suspects, identified as 19-year-old Christine Ruther, had her 7-week-old daughter with her when she and three others broke into Peter Minges (pronounced MING-guhs) & Son candy store on April 10. They are accused of making off with $400 in candy.
The group was arrested a few blocks away.

Ok--this one just happened in my town last night--(It happened to one of my fellow worker's next door neighbor! Can't get much closer then that!!)
A guy broke into a house through an opened side window. Once inside he realized that one of his tennis shoe fell off of his feet. So he goes out the front door--and goes to retrieve his shoe from the side where he climbed into. Mind you, it had rained all day over here-so the dirt was muddy which made it a little difficult to walk with one shoe and one sock. It turned out that the next door neighbor--the guy I work with, saw the man actually go into the house and a few minutes later, saw the same guy at the same window--
The neighbor had already call the cops while the guy was originally breaking in. Once the guy retrieved his shoe--he went back in through the front door--Seconds after he entered again, 2 squad cars showed up, and the officers entered the house with guns drawn! The guy apparently try to persuade the officers that he entered the wrong house by accident because he was sleepwalking and he entered through the front. This would have probably worked---if it wasn't for the one muddy sock inside of the one (out of 2) muddy shoes that he couldn't explain!!!!!!!!

A bank robbery suspect on the run from North Carolina is under arrest after he was caught taking a free ride on Baltimore’s light rail.
A train ticket there costs $1.60. But the Maryland Transit Administration says that the man, identified as 58-year-old Isaac Ray Dunn didn’t have one when an MTA police officer asked passengers to show their tickets on the afternoon of April 9 at the North Linthicum stop south of Baltimore.
After arresting Dunn for failing to buy a ticket, police did a check for outstanding warrants, and wouldn’t you know it, he was found to be wanted for a bank robbery in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Police turned Dunn over to U.S. Marshals.

Police in Melville, New York, say that it was no surprise that a fake $50 got a Long Island man arrested — he was attempting to use it to pay his bail on a traffic violation.
The illegal transaction only added to the legal trouble in which the man, identified as 31-year-old Cyheam Forney, was and landed him in jail.
Police say that they spotted Forney making an illegal left turn April 10 and soon discovered that his license had been suspended.
Forney was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license — until, according to officers, he proffered the bogus bill as bail money. Now, a felony charge of possessing a forged instrument was added to his rap sheet.
