We, you and I and all of us cannot turn this forum anywhere. If Glad is in control, as he says he is, we need his help. Now in perspective, this site makes bucks by selling verifications, selling adds { I would never buy one} an opinion, back to the facts, get verified buy stickies, { I know, old crap to vets} hear me out please. We need to get Glad to let us trade any sites we have, so simple, we make money, people buy stickies cause there are sites to send people to. To Glad, how much money is this forum making right now? A steady drain. Allow us to use our sites, charge us for verify so we can buy stickies. We are willing, but you got the power to make this happen. We need your help. Refs are so hard to come by, as everyone knows, but, I finally get one, she is in a hurry to get going and she said that she has already greened a couple of times and knows what she's doing, so, I set the trade up, she confirms, I send her my ref link, she signs up on the site..THEN DISAPPEARS. That is the most frustrating thing!

I know it's old news in the trading biz, but like I said..I needed to vent.
And, of course, this is not the first time this has happened to me, but, I still have the right to be frustrated by it.

I was living with my parents (and really sic and had nearly died from it but on the mend that part is a long story and not important)
Anyway I was inside just putting in time till a show I was wanting to see came on
Dad was outside and suddenly came in with a 6 pack
Said some people where opening a new store in town and gave it to us for free just to get us to let them take a few minutes telling us what there inventory would be
Dad handed me the 6 pack and went back outside one of the other guy’s came over holding a big thin case (about 3x3 feet and 2-3 inches thick) in one hand and a square case about 1.5 feet in the other
I figured a bunch of big pictures and some free samples

I have always loved browsing new stores so I was interested
He opened the thin one first and I don’t really recall what he was talking about I just recall it didn’t make séance to me
So I confirmed the 6 pack was MINE for free now and just to make sure he couldn’t change his mind I opened one and started drinking it (a bit warm but plenty of time to cool off the other 5 later
Next he opened the square box and pulled out a vacuum cleaner
I thought ARE YOU NUTS do you see any rugs ?
And what makes you think I would buy it after you lied your way in anyway
So he went on and on
And on some more about how it could be used to clean the air to
After about 20 min of this I told him I had a show coming on in 30 min I wanted to see and I wanted him gone when it starts
He wasn’t but I did get a free 6 pack out of it anyway


Then about 6 months later when I was home alone another sales man came to the door carrying a really big case
I wanted to be polite and I was also wondering if it was more freebies
So I let him in
keep in mind that I stand 6/4 and was about 280LBS at the time.
So I let him in he opened this massive carrying case and pulled out a big binder thing must have been about 1.5 feet tall by about 2 feet wide and about 4-5 inches thick (I panicked but said nothing) and he set it on the table next to the main entry door opened it up and started into his sails pitch, I knew instantly I wasn't interested (some kind of insurance) but I wanted to be polite so I let him go on for a bit just waiting for him to pause to get some questions from me at this point I planned to tell him I wasn't interested and ask him to leave but this guy never stopped talking
there would be the odd short pause for a breath or air and I would try to say something but I couldn't get a word out before he would be back going, clearly he was planning his breathes to be quick so as to stop me from saying anything I got madder and madder as I was trying to brake him to his nonstop pitch finally I just yelled out ENOUGH (just that one word)

he grabed his stuff and RUSHED out the door saying some insult about me not being polite or impantent or something as he left
then as he was RUNNING to his car I realized just how short this guy was and how much I had frightened him with just 1 word
I broke out laughing

Not sure if it was my computer or the site. But anyway, the reason I am posting right now is just more for therapy for me. Sometimes I think it's good to type out your feelings to total strangers who don't really know you just to get things off your chest. That being said....here goes.

Like many people in this world today, money is extremely tight. And though there are many opportunities to make money on the internet, you have to have money to do that. Well, my husband and I both work full time jobs and make enough money to cover the bills and leaves next to nothing at the end of the month for food, fun, unexpected things, etc. My son's b-day is today and yesterday I was so upset at the fact that I could not do much of anything for him. It seems that way every year. He seemed to accept it cause it's unfortunately the standard lately.

Somehow we manage to make do with food. We are a family of 4 with 3 dogs and I think I spend about $500 a month on groceries. With the way my son and husband eat, that does not cover a lot of food, especially with the cost of food these days. We make too much money for assistance so we just have to make due with what we have.

I know I'm not the only person who is struggling financially. I just needed to vent. I just wanted to feel that I was not alone, and I know I'm not. You know what really grinds my gears is when you read thru a long ass book that starts off kinda slow and then finally picks up enough to keep ya reading... and then gets really good with all kinds of story lines open and then just ENDS... total cliffhanger... and no tying up of story lines... so you know you will have to wait a year or more for the damned author to write another one to continue it... and that one better not be so damn slow in the first 200 pages!!!! And then... what if on the off chance the author dies or for some reason doesnt finish it?... ughhh that is the worst... can you say "Robert Jordan" and his series where i read what... like 12 books to come to the NON ENDING and he dies and now years later some other guy is going to try and finish the story...... and now Dianna Gabaldon just did it to me with the Outlander Series... i read and read thinking it would be as good as the last 6 books and the beginning just had no umph at all and then right when it gets good... bam... story over!!!! What happens to Jem? What about Brianna? What the hell....ughhhh... i know a good cliff hanger is nice now and then but usually at least SOME of the story lines get tied up first so you feel a little sense of satisfaction... oh boy
