Basic Do's & Don'ts of Freebie Trading

~ DO run the Proxy Test to see if your ISP is using a Proxy Server

~ DO NOT try to complete offers if you are connected through a Proxy Server.
This will cause the IFW to put your account on hold and your status will turn RED.

~DO work from your home computer only.

~DO NOT use a public computer that may at anytime previous or later be used by another. This will show as you having multiple accounts and you will be put on hold and your status will turn RED.

~DO have your PayPal account Verified.

~DO NOT try to complete any site without being PayPal Verified.
Some sites will not approve you without this.

~DO provide all correct information when registering on an IFW and completing offers

~DO NOT use any false information. This is cross checked and will cause
your account to be put on hold and your status will turn RED.

~DO use a valid Credit Card or Bank Issued Debit Card to complete offers.

~DO NOT use any Pre-Paid or Loaded cards, the PayPal Plug-In or the PayPal Debit Card. None of which are allowed to be used for completing trial offers and will not be accepted.

~DO only complete an offer one time. This includes trying to complete more than one PWW offer.

~DO NOT try to complete an offer more than once. You will not recieve credit and it can be construde as Offer Fraud which will cause your account to be put on hold and your status will turn RED.

Basic Tools of Freebie Trading

Listed here are several very important tools everyone should use if not only once
before your first trade, then continuously throughout your trading carreer.

~ Proxy Test ~

Run this before you begin trading. If your ISP happens to be using a Proxy Server,
you will need to get another ISP that does not use one in order to begin
Freebie Trading or contact your ISP and purchase a Static IP.

~ Organizational Spreadsheet ~

The Excel Workbook linked above is one I created shortly after I began Freebie Trading. It contains spreadsheets for every aspect of trading you will ever need from the day you register at your very first IFW site up to the time you are running full steam ahead working method 2. If assistance is needed on how to use it, please feel free to ask. I will explain each of the 5 spreadsheets within the workbook for you.

~ Trade Manager ~

She has put together a tutorial that explains every step neccessary from begining with
how to confirm a trade up to and beyond completing the trade and leaving Feedback.

~ Create A Signature ~

The picture tutorial above was created by another of FLR's finest traders, Lois5669. She not only explains step by step how to create a wonderful signature, but the importance of creating one early on to get your name out on the forum and to get yourself known. And once you do graduate to method 2 and edit your signature later, all of the posts you have previously made will also be updated which will give you much more exposure. Which is always a good thing!

Pre-Offer PC Preparation

Before anybody ever begins to do offers they must do a few things to their computer to help ensure proper crediting. These are very simple but are very important. You need to Turn Off ALL Pop-Up Blockers, Set your Privacy setting to Accept All Cookies, & Clear your Cookies. This must be done everytime before you log into an IFW site to complete offers. Not doing so can mis-direct the offer cookie and you will not recieve credit for the offers you complete.

The 2 main browsers that most traders use are Internet Explorer and Firefox.
