Smile Start Right!$50 BONUS!1on1 Help,$175Starter Pkg! In-depth tutorials and training!

Hello, Unregistered ! Welcome to my trade thread! I’m an enthusiastic and honest trader ready to show the ropes and pay you! I love this business and I’m happy to help you, step-by-step as you learn the freebie world and prepare to move to Method 2. I am a pro-mentor and I will be here to guide you from day one, until the day you just flat out don’t have any more questions, no matter how far in the future that may be!

My commitment to you is that I will do everything I can to make sure that you are successful at this business. When you are successful, I am successful! Everyone who contacts me is answered, every time! I'm fun and easygoing, and I know what it takes to help you succeed--and I'm happy to share that info. I have filled my trade thread with tutorials on every aspect of freebie trading, just scroll down and look for the topic that interests you and you'll be able to find it here. If you don't find the answer, ask me! I also have my own Freebie Mentoring Website, which you are welcome to visit anytime. There your will find even more in-depth lessons, and even video tutorials to show you step-by-step how to complete a freebie trade. I'm glad to help--I welcome Private Messages, E-mails, Instant Messages on YIM and AIM, and I also welcome phone calls from traders, I'm happy to help however I can, by whatever method of communication works best for you. Please look at the bottom of this post for all my contact info and the link to my Mentoring Site. In "real life" I am a small business owner and a private music teacher. Trust me, if I can teach piano to a five year old, I can teach you how to be successful in freebies!

I'm so glad you found me, because right now I'm offering a fantastic starter package. Do your five sites with me and I'll give you a $50 bonus!

That’s right, a $50 bonus!

I’ll pay you for each site as soon as you green, then when the fifth green comes in and has been completed in Trade Mgr, I’ll send you a bonus $50 deposit to your Paypal. Once you have greened these five sites, you will have a real understanding of how the freebie industry works, and you will have five valuable sites in your portfolio for Method 2. And, you’ll have a whopping $190 in your Paypal just to start!

By doing these sites with me, you will have a partner to work with you as you learn the skills of freebie trading, and I'll help you with any questions you have.

Here are the sites I’m offering the Bonus on. I’ll pay you for each site as soon as you’re green, and when the fifth green comes in, I’ll send your $50 bonus payment!

BigCash.zipnadazilch.com $30

Cash.zipnadazilch.com $20

Yourhugerewards.com $30

youripodnano4free.com $25 (Not available as a first trade)

cashrewards.git-r-free.com $20

Once these greens are confirmed, and the trades have all been completed in Trade Mgr,you get a Bonus $50 payment from me! This brings your total for these five easy one-credit sites to $175! That is a really great way to get started in the freebie world. Combine this with the fact that I will be giving you the best support, tips, and encouragement you’ll find anywhere, and you’ve got the road to success paved for you!

Once you’ve greened my Bonus sites and gotten that big influx of cash into your Paypal account, we’ll want to work to get your iTrader Rating up to at least ten, so that you can become a mentor yourself, and build your own trade thread and start getting referrals here on the forum.

Together we can choose the best sites for you to green to fill that Paypal account and raise your iTR score. Here are some of the sites I offer. The Prices listed are what I pay if this is your first trade with me. If you have completed the Spring Green Pack with me, your pay for these sites will be much higher than what is listed. We can discuss those prices when you've done the bonus pack.

On the following sites, after you have greened one of them, you will receive a $5 bonus (on top of the listed price) on your next three sites, then a $10 bonus (on top of the listed price) on each site thereafter.

Easy Beginner Sites--Can often be completed by doing only one offer

Budget.Zipnadazilch.com $15

gifts.zipnadazilch.com $15

VideoGames.Git-r-free.com $15

easyaspie.git-r-free.com $15

More Great Beginner Sites, Paying a little more than those listed above

cashrewards.git-r-free.com $20

ipods.zipnadazilch.com $20

cash.zipnadazilch.com $20

paypal.zipnadazilch.com $20

games.zipnadazilch.com $25

Higher Pay--More of a Challenge

bigcash.zipnadazilch.com $30

doublecash.zipnadazilch.com $40 (2 credits)

allinone.zipnadazilch.com $65

Yourhugerewards.com $30

More sites being added soon due to the removal of several of my sites from FreeLunchRoom. I have sites that pay up to $60 for a site.

Once you're ready to move to Method 2, I will be happy to help you build your own trade thread and start seeking referrals for yourself. I will walk you through everything you need to know, step-by-step.

Please note that as you begin this business, there are some things you will need.
1. You have to have a Paypal Account. If you don't have one, get that set up today.

2. You have to have a credit card with at least a few dollars on it to spend on offers. Prepaid cards are not ok. You'll get your money back very quickly, but like every business, there is an initial investmet. Luckily, in freebies, the investment is very, very small.

3. You need to be willing to listen to advice and follow instructions. I will be thrilled to show you exactly how to go green and make money, but you will need to follow my instructions and ask questions if you are confused. There is a very precise process to this business, and if it isn't followed exactly, you might not get paid. You want to get paid, I want you to get paid, so let's work together to make that happen!

I am dedicated to the success of those who work with me. I have written several tutorials and posted them here in my trade thread to help you out as you go through the process. Please start reading them as we begin, they will be a huge help to you.

I also have my own freebie mentoring website complete with video tutorials that you are welcome to access anytime to troubleshoot or just find out more about this business. That link is
www. Freestuffdowntown. Com.
No question is too big or too small, please ask me—I am always happy to help. You can contact me via Private Message, YIM or AIM (ID lilgreenjeep125) or by phone at 417.540.5141. Everyone is answered, every time! I look forward to hearing from you!

Want to see proof that this business is for real? I have posted screen shots of some of the payments I have received from freebie sites. You can view those by CLICKING HERE.

I look forward to working with you!
Sarah

Choosing a Mentor--An Important First Step!

Tutorial #1: How To Choose A Mentor

Before you do anything else in the world of freebies, you need to consider who is going to help you learn this business. There is a lot to learn, and I mean A LOT. It will be very difficult for you starting out if you don't select someone to work one-on-one with you to teach, guide, and help you. FreeLunchRoom is a great place to find a mentor, because there are hundreds, if not thousands of qualified mentors on this forum who are eager to help you get started. I'm one of them! If you're looking at my trade thread, I assume you're considering choosing me as your mentor, and I'm really glad for that. If you don't choose me, that's ok, too, and I wish you the very best as you start your career in the world of freebies. I prepared this tutorial to help guide new folks in how to choose that all-important mentor. No matter who you choose, you need to make sure that they meet the qualifications I've outlined here.

Here are some things to consider when choosing a mentor.

1.iTrader Rating. You can find this below a trader's avatar. There will be a number and a percentage. A lot of emphasis is placed on iTrader Rating in this forum. It is much like a feedback score on Ebay--it is an indicator of how many trades a trader has completed on this forum, and if you view a trader's detailed feedback on their profile page, you can read exactly what others have said about their experiences with that trader. iTR is a valuable tool that you can use to help you choose a mentor. I recommend going with someone with AT LEAST an iTR of 10--this is the bare minimum. Fewer trades than that means that the trader is likely still learning the ropes him or herself, so give that person a little more time to get their footing before expecting them to be able to successfully guide you. Now, as you look around the forum, you will see traders with iTR of anywhere from 0 to well over a thousand, and everything in-between. While a higher iTR means that a trader has completed more trades, it does not mean that they are necessarily the mentor that will work best with you, so make sure you consider other factors besides just iTR.

2. Post count. How much a trader posts is an indicator or how active they are on the forum. Posting a lot does not make someone a qualified mentor, it merely shows you how much they contribute to the discussions on the forum. Some traders post a lot but don't really contribute that much with their posts, so look around and what a trader has to say. Reading posts by a trader is also a good way of gaining a feel for that person's personality and determining if they will be a good match for you to work with. If a trader has fewer than 50 posts, they may not be very active on the forum, which means they may not be on here that much and may not be available to you when you have questions. This is just a speculation, and if you find a mentor with a low post count, whom you feel would be a good match for you, simply ask them about their activity on the forum.

3. What kind of sites do they offer in their trade thread? Unfortunately, some traders offer sites that won't do you much good in Method 2. Find out about what good sites are out there (I'll be glad to give you my input!) and make sure that the mentor you choose is setting you up with those sites. I personally try to offer the most valuable sites to my traders, both to get them cash during method one, but more importantly to set them up for long-term success in Method 2.

4. Communication skills. Corresponding via e-mail and private message requires good written communication skills. If you pick a mentor who lacks this, you may have a hard time understanding that person's advice and you could run into trouble. Reading their posts and their trade thread is an excellent way to determine if a trader has good written communication skills.

5. Go with your instinct. If a trader has a high iTR, high post count, good sites and good written communication skills, and you just flat out don't think you'll work well with that person, don't feel obligated to work with them! Take your time and look for someone who seems upbeat and positive, and who you truly feel will help you succeed. You want to be able to have a good relationship with this person--I still talk to my mentor regularly and she still answers questions for me from time to time. Choose someone with whom you will be able to build a lasting positive relationship.

A good mentor will be an invaluable asset to you from day one. Choose wisely!

What Sites Should I Work On?

Tutorial #2: How to choose the best sites to green

I only try to offer the highest-quality sites on my trade thread. In fact, I have several sites that I don't even list, because I don't feel like they are the best sites for new referrals to add to their cache. I am very committed to helping new traders build a quality portfolio, not just throw any site at them that can make me some money today. Each site you green becomes a site in your portfolio that you will use in Method 2 to offer to new traders. If you green a site that no one really wants, it will be hard to promote that site to new users, and it will essentially be a dead end for you.

Here are the factors that I find most important when choosing sites to green.

1. How easy is it to green? I have chosen to list in my thread only sites that I know are easy to green. Sites that are notorious for giving bad support do not get included in my trade thread offerings. It is important that you set yourself up for success by choosing sites that you can green easily and get paid quickly. For this reason I suggest you NOT start out with the highest-paying sites, like allinone.zipnadazilch. These high-paying sites take many offers to go green and can become discouraging. These sites are fine if, once you've gotten a few trades under your belt, you want to try something more challenging, but save them for when you have confidence and experience.

2. How many offers do they have? You need to be able to find enough offers to green. Always check a site's offerings before agreeing to a trade, to make sure you can go green on it.

3. How fast does the site pay out? This is important because you want to get your money as soon as you send a referral, not sit waiting for a week after you've already paid your referral.

4. Do they offer one-ref-cashouts? Other than TraInn, I do not promote any sites that don't offer one-ref-cashouts. Why? Because I'd rather get $40 every time I send a referral, then pay ten referrals out of my pocket and finally get $400 after a few weeks. This is a personal preference, but I like to get my money fast! The faster, the better!

5. What kind of bonuses does the site offer? Many of the freebie networks offer bonuses. If you choose me as your mentor, I will set you up with the sites that pay the best bonuses. Why? Because it's just more money in your pocket for Method 2! This one really makes sense, but many traders don't tell their refs about this little goodie. I try to always promote sites that are offering bonuses at that time.

6. Does the site offer cash as a payout? I only work on sites that offer cash (Paypal), because I just don't need an iPod right now. Cash is King, and there's nothing wrong with choosing an iPod or Wii as your prize, but after you've earned it, and you want to keep working on that site, you should have the option to get some cold, hard, cash. Most, but not all sites offer cash as a prize.

If you choose me as your mentor, I will set you up with the best sites to guide you through Method 1 easily, and build a solid foundation for a succesful run at Method 2. Contact me today to get started!

Freebie Checklist--Get Your Ducks in a Row

Tutorial #3: Checklist--What You Need to Have Before You Begin With Freebies

The Freebie World is pretty easy to get into, not a lot of prerequisite skills or experience. The things you do need, however, are non-negotiable, so I wanted to put this near the top of my tutorials so that you can get your ducks in a row before you begin. Cover your bases FIRST. It can be discouraging to realize you don't have all the necessary tools and have to stop in the middle of your work to wait for something to process. Do/obtain all these things BEFORE you jump in.

1. You need a personal computer that is not shared, or at least not shared with anyone outside your family, and is not shared by anyone who might be doing freebies. The reason for this is because the offers you will be doing are one per household and if someone else does an offer from the same computer you're using, you'll be flagged as a scammer and possibly banned.

2. Your computer cannot be accessed via a proxy server. You can find out if you access the web via a proxy by clicking HERE. If you use AOL, you'll have to find another ISP if you want to do freebies.

3. You need a verified Paypal account. No Paypal account means you won't get paid for your work. If you don't have one, go get your own Paypal account by clicking HERE. Make sure you go ahead and get verified. It will take a couple days for the verification process to complete, but you can start on a site in that time. While you're at Paypal, you might want to go ahead and get the Paypal debit card, then you can spend the money you make anywhere they take credit cards.

4. You need a credit card with at least ten dollars open on it to spend on offers. You can also use your debit card, but I don't recommend it. You'll get the few dollars you spend back on your first trade, but you will have to pay a little bit for most offers. That's just the nature of this business, and the benefits far outweigh the costs.

5. You need to have an attitude of determination and positivity. You may run into bumps along the way--this is normal when starting out, just like with any new experience, and you need to be prepared to work your way through it and not give up. As your mentor I will be there every step of the way for you and I will do everything in my power to make sure that you are successful--if we do business together, I want you to have the same dedication to your success. This combination will ensure profitability and fun for you.

Well, that's what I've got for now. Get your ducks in a row, then let's get started!

Getting Started: Confirming The Trade in Trade Manager

Tutorial #4: Confirming a Trade in Trade Manager

Ok, so you've decided on a site and we're ready to start--So I will set up a trade for us in Trade Manager, and you need to confirm it before you start on the site.

Trade Manager basically handles the "Legal" aspect of our trade. The trade set up in Trade Manger signifies a contract between us--it is an agreement that you will green the trade and I will pay you for it.

Here's how you confirm that trade, sealing our contract.

Look near the top of this page. To the left of the search bar, you will see icons that say FLR TOOLS, TRADE MANAGER. . .I won't go any further, because Trade Manager is the one you need.

You will click TRADE MANAGER, and you will be redirected to the Trade Manger. Near the Top of the page you will see the links TRADE MANAGER HOME, CREATE TRADE, CONFIRM TRADE...That's the one you need to click. CONFIRM TRADE. You'll then be redirected to a screen where you'll see the trade I set up for us. You will need to click the little grey button by our trade that says "Confirm."

Now, our trade is confirmed and you're ready to begin. I will send you a referral link to the site we have set up and you can get started making some money!

How to Green a Site

Tutorial #5: How to Complete a Freebie Site, Start to Finish

If you don't follow the precise steps in completing a Freebie site, you run a high risk of not getting credit for your work, therefore not getting paid. Nobody wants that, so here's a tutorial that will help you make sure you get credit for the offers you do, don't go on-hold, and get paid for your work! Let's do it!

First thing you need to know: you must access the site upon which we agreed via my personal referral link, this is a link to the site that ends in something like /?referral=20622. I will give you this in a private message after you have confirmed our trade. If you don't sign up at the site using me referral link, I won't get paid for you being my referral, and I can't pay you. So, make sure you sign up with my link!

Before you go to the freebie site, you need to follow these instructions to a "T". These are the tried-and-true methods for ensuring that you get credit for your offers.

Instructions for Internet Explorer Users (If you have Firefox, you will follow a slightly different procedure)

First you need to Turn of Pop-Up Blocker Bly Clicking TOOLS, POP UP BLOCKER, TURN OFF POP UP BLOCKER.

Then you need to set your browser to "Accept All Cookies," which can be done by clicking TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, PRIVACY, then lower the meter to ACCEPT ALL COOKIES.

Next You need to clear your cookies, immediately before going to the site. You do this by clicking TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, DELETE, DELETE COOKIES.

For a video Tutorial on how to Set up Your Browser to do Freebie Sites, CLICK HERE

Now, immediately after you do the above, you will click on my ref link, which will take you to the site, where the magic happens! You will sign up at the site--use your true information. These sites aren't a scam and they won't spam you or call you at home (Exception--a few sites do a telephone verification immediately after you sign up where you have to enter a PIN they give you over the phone. . .This is the only phone call I've ever gotten from a Freebie site). You will be asked to pick a prize. This isn't too important at this point, it's just something for you to work towards in the future when you refer your friends to the site. You can change the prize you select at any time.

Now, once you're done signing up, you'll need to complete an offer. Go to the offers page and browse the offers, and pick one to start. On most sites you will need to complete enough offers to fill one credit. Some sites require more or less than one credit, you will know this going into the site. For this tutorial we will assume you will be doing a one-credit site.

Each offer is worth a certain percentage of a credit. Some are a full credit, some are half a credit, some are .15 or .25 credit. You need to select enough offers that they will add up to one credit when you're done. Pick one to start and click on it. You will be redirected to the offer's website. Here you will need to sign up and complete the offer.

IMPORTANT! You need to read the terms of service on each offer you do, to find out how long your trial lasts, and to obtain the customer service number to the company so that you can call them if you have questions or want to cancel. Record this information in a place you won't lose it.

When you are signed up at the offer (You will probably have to enter your credit card info at some point) and reach the confirmation page, let that page sit for at least five minutes. Print the page, and don't browse around during that time. Just take a break and let the cookies talk from the offer site to the Freebie site so that you get credit for doing the offer. After five minutes, check your e-mail (In another window--leave the confirmation page sitting) for a confirmation e-mail from the offer. Also check back to the Freebie site and look at your status to see if your offer has credited (If it is an offer that credits instantly. If not, you'll need to wait the amount of time specified to get your credit). If you have your confirmation email and the site shows you've received credit for the offer, you're free to begin another offer if you need to do so to fill one credit. If you have not received credit yet, let the confirmation page sit another five minutes before closing it. If after ten minutes you still don't see the credit on the freebie site, go ahead and close your confirmation page. The credit will probably come within a day. Always save your confirmation e-mail.

Once you have completed enough offers to make one credit, and they have credited on the freebie site, you're GREEN! At this point you can contact me and let me know you're green and I'll send your payment.

Remember to stay on top of your offers, try them out and be sure to cancel trials on time if you don't want to keep the product or subscription. The sites WILL revoke your credit if you cancel offers early, so give the trial most of the trial period before canceling. The freebie business revolves around people giving offers a fair try, so do your part to keep us all in business. TIP:Your trial starts the day you sign up, so a seven day trial is seven days including the day you sign up. The offer companies are not typically open on weekends so if you need to get in touch with them, do it on Friday, before the weekend.

The key to completing a freebie site is to be patient and positive. Sometimes offers don't credit instantly--don't get frustrated, just give them a day or so. If they haven't credited in a few days, you can file a manual credit request. On rare occasions, offers just don't credit at all--if you follow the proper steps you reduce the chances of this happening by a lot. In those rare cases, you'll just need to do another offer to replace the credit. I've only had this happen a few times in all the offers I've done, and it wasn't a big deal, I just kept my head up and went back and did another offer.

I try to be available every day for my referrals so if you have questions or run into trouble along the way, you can always PM me, IM me, e-mail me, or call me for help. Important Tips for Greening a Freebie Site

Tutorial #6: Important Tips When Greening a Freebie Site

Hopefully you read my last tutorial, which explains step-by-step how to go through the greening process. There is a lot I didn't cover in that tutorial, though, and therefore I am adding this one. Please read both this tutorial and #5 before you begin, in order to cut down on confusion and frustration for you.

Here are some things you need to know

Never do the same site twice. You'll get in big trouble for this.

Never do the same offer twice. You'll get in big trouble if caught.

You can't use a pre-paid debit or credit card, including a Paypal card. I recommend using only regular old credit cards--not your debit card.

Often a site will have a crediting guide at the top of the offers page. Read this in case they require you to do something different from what I have outlined in the last tutorial.

Pacific Webworks is a company that offers several trials on many of the Freebie Sites. They only allow you to do one of their offers, so check that you're not doing more than one of these.

Forex GTG
Amazing Amazon Webstore
Yahoo Search Success
EAuction Expert
ESuccess 2 U

Typically the site will state right on the offer if it is a Pacific Webworks offer, but sometimes they don't, so consult this list if you have a concern that you may be about to do a second PWW Offer.

Every time you do any offer, read the terms and conditions and record the length of your trial, and a phone number to contact customer support. NEVER overlook this step!

If your credit card gets declined after you do an offer or two, it could be because your credit card company has flagged your account. The reason for this is that when theives get a hold of a credit card number, they often make several tiny purchases online to test the number and see that it's good, then they make the huge purchases and wipe out the card. So, when you do a couple of trials that cost you $1 and $2.95, your credit card company may flag your account. This is usually no big deal, just call the number on the back of your card and let them know it's you making the charges and it's okay to authorize these small charges. This is a GOOD thing that your card company is looking out for you, so don't get frustrated if this happens to you early on. Just make the call and get it taken care of and continue on.

If you try an offer and they decline your credit card, you will not get credit for the offer. HOWEVER, they may continue to try to bill your card, so if you try an offer and your card is declined, call the customer service number and tell them not to continue to try to charge your card. This will just help you avoid unwanted sneaky charges.

The Grant offers and a few other offers have piggyback offers attached to them, meaning that they sign you up for other offers when you sign up for the offer. This is no big deal, just make sure you always read the terms of service on every offer to see if they're putting a piggyback offer on there, and if they are, get the information you need to cancel it.

Instant doesn't always mean instant. It should, and I feel this is a form of false advertising to say that an offer credits instantly, when it can take up to a day, but, that is one of the things we just have to deal with in the freebie world. Now that you know this, don't get discouraged if you do an offer that says it credits instantly, and your credit doesn't show up instantly. Give it a day before you worry, and then give it a couple more days before filing a credit request (How to file a credit request will get its own tutorial).

The Freebie Site itself is not the one who gives you credit. Credit is given by an Affiliate network, so if you have trouble getting credit, don't get rude with the people at the site. They WANT you to get credit, because that is how they get paid from the offer companies. However, it is not up to them, it's up to the affiliate network, so please bear that in mind when you deal with freebie site support.

Occasionally you might get put On Hold, or "Go Red." If you have approached the process honestly, this is nothing to worry about. Often, if you have moved in the recent past, your credit card might show a different billing address than what you enter on the site, or you might have made a mistake when entering your info, or something else small like that. These issues are easily fixed and no reason to panic or give up. Just follow the instructions sent to you by the site to correct the problem and you'll be taken off-hold and be back in the green! I repeat--DO NOT give up if you go red, just work through it! You'll come out on top! I'll be here to help you!

Above all, keep a positive attitude and be patient! The first offer I did took over two weeks to credit--talk about discouraging! BUT, I perservered and didn't lose hope. If you do the same, you will be succcessful, too! Many people do an offer and give up on freebies altogether when it doesn't credit instantly. I would have lost out on a lot of money if I had given up when that first offer was hard to get credit for. This is the most important thing I can tell my refs--DON'T GIVE UP! If you run into problems, please let me help you, that's what I'm here for, and I'm glad to do it.

Method 2--Prepare Now!

Tutorial #7: Making Your Method 2 Preparations Now

So, you have just started Freebie trading, and your plan is to make a career of it. Great! But, if you're like I was, you're still trying to just get a grasp of what's going on. How can you prepare for the future when you don't have a clue what you need to do???

First, I just want to advise you to take it slow. Don't jump into tons of trades in order to get yourself to Method 2 faster. Enjoy these early days of going green for others. This is a crucial learning phase for you, so take the time to learn right. Do one trade at a time and do it well. While you are working your way through Method 1, you can have your eye on the prize, which is Method 2. This tutorial gives you some simple steps you can take WHILE working on Method 1 that will help you be totally prepared for Method 2, so that when you're ready to go, you'll be able to get started.

1. First, listen to your mentor. They know what they're talking about. Personally, I listen to the trader whom I consider to be my mentor to this day. She gives me tips and encouragement and I ask her questions, and I have tried to model the way I treat new traders after the way she treated me. Pay attention to what your mentor does and says--they should provide you with an excellent model for starting Method 2. Use Method 1 as a chance to study your mentor and see what they're doing that is making them successful. If I'm you're mentor, I'll be like an open book. I'll answer all your questions and help you get set up right.

2. Build a rounded portfolio. If you're doing business with me, this will be a given. I set new traders up with ten valuable sites of all kinds to start their own trade thread when they move to Method 2. By Portfolio, here, I'm talking about the collection of sites that you acquire by greening them. . .These become gems in your "Portfolio" that you can then put in your trade thread and offer them to new traders and get paid to refer them to those sites.

3. Read, Read, and Read Some More! Now, I am providing you with tutorials that will answer many of your questions and help you through most aspects of freebie trading, but there are lots of other people on this forum with good ideas about offers, sites, crediting, new developments in the world of freebies. . .And much more. Read around and familiarize yourself with the rules here on the forum so that you will be positive member of the community.

4. Post around the forum. When you jump to Method 2, you need to have made at least 15 posts here on FreeLunchRoom--this isn't just a suggestion, its a rule, so get started now! A great place to post is in your mentor's trade thread--let the world know what a great experience you're having with him/her. You can also try out the game room--this is a fun place to post and make friends. There are also lots of other excuses to post around the forum to get your two cents in on the discussions taking place here. Just make sure that you've read the rules and that you are posting considerately--See point #5 for more details on that.

5. Start building a good reputation for yourself now. Make sure to always leave feedback for every trade you complete, that way your iTR score will go up and you will be seen as a trustworthy trader. Also, like I mentioned in #4, post around the forum, both to get a feel for it and also to start being seen. This next thing is not mandatory, but something that I have made a policy--I only post kind, considerate words on the forum. When I was looking for a mentor, I didn't want to get in with someone who was negative or rude. Many new traders will feel this way, so set yourself apart by being considerate and kind in your posts. Don't leave insulting or rude posts. Some traders do it, and there's no rule around here that you have to be kind, but I think it will really help you build a good reputation. Of course profanity isn't allowed on here so by all means keep it clean when posting. Make friends! You'll find as you post around there will be people who both agree and disagree with your ways of thinking. Make friends with the people who think like you do--then you can help each other out down the road.

6. Be kind to the Site owners. I'm talking about the freebie sites here, and regarding how you communicate with them if you need to submit credit requests or things of that nature. Be nice to them so that they will be glad to work with you in the future. Being nice to them will also benefit you in method one, because if you tick them off they won't be as compelled to help you out in Method 1, either.

7. Start getting your documents ready! Each time you green a site, record your referral link, and how much the site pays, so that you can easily access it to send refs there later. I have a file I will send you to print index cards for each of your referrals.

8. When you get to iTR of about 8 or 9, go ahead and get FLR verified. There are some major benefits to being FLR verified. One of which is that FLR guarantees all trades made between two verified traders--this means that if you are verified and you trade with another verified member, and they scam you, FLR will reimburse you 1/2 the money you were supposed to receive for the trade. The second major benefit is that once you're verified, you may purchase a "Sticky Thread." A sticky thread is an opportunity where your trade thread gets "stuck" at the top of the Paying for Referrals section of this forum, yielding many, many contacts for referrals for you, which can equal lots of money!

9. When you get to iTR 10, go to Project Payday and apply to be a PPD Mentor, so that you can advertise that you are qualified to mentor new traders.

10. Finally, go to the Paying For Referrals section and do some evaluating of the threads you see there. Decide what you like, what you don't, and start planning your own thread design. I will be thrilled to help you with this, also. The sky is the limit when you build your own thread--it can be as simple or elaborate as you want it to be!

These are all things you can be working on, a little at a time as you work your way through Method 1. If you keep your eye on the prize all along, you will be well-prepared and Method 2 will go much more smoothly for you. I will help you keep on track in your quest to meet your goals. Together, we'll make it happen for you!

Glossary of Freebie Trading Terms

Tutorial #8: Glossary of Freebie Trading Terms

When I first Started out, I saw a lot of terms and initials around the forum and on the freebie sites that everyone seemed to understand but me! So, I decided to put together this entry to help get you familiarized with some terms that you are bound to see a lot as you go forward with this business. These are not Webster's definitions. . .I tried to explain them in plain terms to make them easy to understand for new folks. Of course, if you hae further questions about any of these things, ask me and I'll try to explain it in more detail. Words in italics are words for which I've provided definitions.

FLR--Short for FreeLunchRoom (No definition needed here. You're Here!)

IFW--Incentvized Freebie Website. These are the sites that you will be sent to to sign up for offers. Some examples of these are cash.zipnadazilch.com, or 40.**********.com.

Project Payday or PPD--This is a website that provides information about freebie trading. Many users are brought to FLR through PPD.

PPD Mentor--A PPD mentor is someone who has reached an iTR of at least ten and has been certified by Project Payday as a freebie mentor.

Green--Noun. Once a referral has completed the necessary number of offers on a site and credit has been issued for those offers, a GREEN is issued. It is this GREEN that results in pay for the referral.

Green--Verb (to GREEN a site) the process of completing offers for credit in order to get paid.

Green--Adjective (You're Green!) The state of having completed the required number of offers on a site and having been awarded credit, and being ready to be paid.

Red/On Hold (These two mean the same thing) Your GREEN on an IFW has been revoked for one of a number of reasons. If you have done the site and offers honestly and followed the rules of the site, Reds can usually be fixed very easily. While you are red you will not be paid and you are essentially banned from the IFW until you fix the red.

MCR--Manual Credit Request. Sometimes an offer does not credit as it is supposed to do. In these cases, you may file an MCR with the IFW in order to request your credit. In these cases you must provide FULL HEADERS from your CONFIRMATION EMAIL so that the IFW may review your case and issue your credit manually. Please note that not all offers/AFFILIATES accept credit requests.

Affiliate--This is the "middleman" between the IFW and the offers you complete. The affiliate is in charge of the tasks of redirecting you from the IFW to the offer, and issuing your credit.

CC--This stands for credit card. If a site says "No CC," that means you don't have to use your credit card to complete offers on the site.

BUMP--This means "Bring up my post." This is what you do to send your THREAD to the top of the list in this forum.

Cookies--COOKIES are sooo important in this industry! Cookies are little bits of data that talk back and forth between your computer and different websites. You have to have cookies enabled to get credit for the offers you do. They talk between the IFW and the offers you do, and that is how the IFW knows to give you credit for your offers.

Referral--A REFERRAL is someone who completes an IFW for someone else. Typically a REFERRAL gets paid for completing the site for the other person.

Thread--On FLR, a THREAD is a string of posts related to a topic.

Trade Thread--This is a THREAD created by a trader to advertise the IFWs for which they are seeking REFERRALS. In this THREAD they can tell about themselves, and try to set themselves apart from other traders.

DIY--(Do It Yourself) An IFW where, instead of getting referrals to get paid, you complete offers yourself for credit towards your selected prize.

PM--On FLR, a PM is a Private Message. You can send one to another trader by going to your PM Inbox, which you can access via the notification box near the top right of the page in FLR.

VM--Visitor Message. This is a message that traders can leave for each other on their FLR profile page.

Trade Manager--This is the section of FLR that controls the setup and confirmation of each trade. Ask your mentor to help you naviagate TRADE MANAGER.

Forever Green/Repeatable--This means that once you have met the offer requirements on an IFW, you never have to do any more offers at that site. You can send as many referrals and cash out as many prizes as you want without every having to green the site again.

Cashout--This is the term used for the amount of money you will receive for sending a REFERRAL to an IFW.

Avatar--This is a picture or graphic that you can use to represent yourself here on FLR. You can upload it by going to the link found in your control panel from your Inbox.

SPAM--In FLR, any unwanted or unrequested correspondence from another trader is considered SPAM and should be reported. When you are a new trader, you should not receive any PMs or VMs from other traders until you contact them directly, first. If you receive a message first, that trader is SPAMming you and should be reported, because this is against the rules

iTR, iTRader, Trader Rating--This is the number of positive feedbacks that have been left for trades that you have done. Once a trade is completed in TRADE MANAGER, traders leave feedback for one another, and receiving a positive feedback will make your iTR go up by one point. A negative feedback will lower your iTR, and a neutral will do nothing to it.

Confirmation email--The e-mail you should receive from an offer company after you have completed it. Hold on to this!

Full Headers--This is the full heading from your CONFIRMATION EMAIL, which is necessary if you need to provide an MCR. Have your Mentor help you find full headers if you need them. I will probably provide a tutorial for that eventually.

TraInn--This is a group of IFWs owned by Transcendent Innovations Network. You'll see them brought up a lot on the forum. These sites require only one offer to green, and they pay very well per referral, so they're great in that way, however, they are not forevergreen/repeatable, and they require many referrals to cashout, so there are some drawbacks to them, also.

If you run into any other terminology that you don't understand, ask me, and I'll be glad to explain it to you!
