I have been denied an investigation for putting it down as a service. That is why I have always listed it as goods, I too have always received my money back in the claims that I have filed.

Thanks for the info!! i've had a few different situations come up lately (which i've luckily gotten 2 of the 3 resolved.. this last one is the one i'm worried about) anyway.. I've ALWAYS put service/other because thats what i've always thought it was? they were performing a service for me (kinda like a web designer does for a client etc) good to know I do have some common sense.. lol i'll have to change my messages though just to ensure! thanks again!! :)

I just got denied for a dispute- i didnt notice this post before :( Not sure how i could have said it any different- they just said they cant do anything about it, and im basically up the creek without a paddle= not sure what i missed.gol durned scammers :{ I need to contact them and see if they wont start a new section on the dispute page that covers us too! it's not like they arent getting any business from the freebie industry! if anyone else is thinking about it, maybe if a bunch of people sent in a request for it, they may add to their policy? just a thought. Great thread, so helpful. BTW how does PayPal respond when you file your complaint? It's not like they reimburse you do they?

No, in my experience all that happens is when they find in your favor, they pull the money from the person's account, if it's linked to a checking account, they may pull it from there, and eventually (even if they don't have the money in their account) as soon as there is money in the account it's sent to you.
