I have Vista that came with IE7. I have followed these guidelines to get credit but have found I am only getting credited 50% of the time. Now, I do have another computer that connects wirelessly and it is Windows XP with IE6. Would using that computer make it easier ti credit and... If I do start using that computer, would it cause problems due to possibily a different IP address?

You can try with the IE6 its not going to hurt anything. As long as your connected through the same internet connection then it doesnt matter which computer at your house your using...if you connect through a different provider then yes you will have a different IP....however I too have Vista and IE7 and dont have a huge problem with crediting....so that may not even be the problem....but there are a lot of different views on that topic...so I would try it with the IE6 and see what happens

If you have a dynamic IP Address through your ISP will that cause problems?

Hey Gladiator. I made a video on clearing your cookies for FireFox. I uploaded it to my own site. If you want to use it, and you have to have it on your hosting, then just PM me.

Let me know your thoughts!

Your using DSL which is fine....so no you shouldnt have any probs....DSL Ips change periodically but typically only the last few sets of numbers and the free sites are aware of this

Thanks, great post. I have a quick question for you though, After you complete the entire site, is it okay to right away go and do another sight and clear the cookies before starting, or should you wait a little while before clearing the cookies again?

Please pm me with any answer to this

Thank you,
bmoehn

Talking Thank You

This is very helpful as it would cost me more money to get a static IP. Thanks! :-)
