Re: Needing to vent
Sigh...i am, unfortunately, learning that life has a very funny way of bringing you down to size and then letting you build yourself backup. :-/ It sucks, but somehow reminds me not to get too cocky when things are going well lol. I guess its just the natural way to keep us all from getting big heads. No matter how bad things get, it just means there is plenty of room for it to get better :) Keep your head up! About a year ago I was homeless in Los Angeles with not a penny to my name, and a year later I now have my own apartment, make decent money between a part tyme job and online sales and things have really started going well for me. So, the point is, lol, just keep looking forward because somewhere down the road, your financial situation will work itself out and all will be well :) You are in my prayers hun!

Greetings FLR Members,
My name is Jon Gall, owner of Freebiez-R-Us.com. I am not here to promote my site in any way fashion or form. However, I am here to respond to this thread, and all of the responses that have been posted thus far. I will try and keep my response short, as I am currently in the process of writing a book that will cover most of what I am about to say... and much more. Why are so many individuals struggling financially? This seems to be the number one question that 98% of our population have a hard time answering. But believe it or not folks, the answer to that question lies within each and every one of us. Here is one of my favorite quotes: "MONEY COMES INTO YOUR LIFE BASED ON YOUR ABILITY TO HANDLE IT." What this basically means is if you are currently making $500 a month, then that's all you are mentally programmed to manage. Please do not be discouraged by my previous statement. Although that may be the case, it definitely does not have to remain that way. NEVER give in or accept the Spirit of Lack, the Spirit of Poverty, the Spirit of Not Enough... There is Greatness within each and every one of us. I'm sure you've heard it before, but it's time to not only believe in it but to act on it as well. So... are you guys ready for the Truth? Are you ready for the answer that many have a hard time answering? Well here it is... Before you can expect to benefit Externally... You MUST CHANGE INTERNALLY!!! It's imperative to understand that you MUST change your way of thinking if you intend to live a life of financial freedom. As a Motivational Speaker, I currently speak to college students (and soon High School) about the importance of Financial Literacy. One must first Increase their Financial IQ in order to Increase their monthly Cash Flow. For the individuals on this forum who personally know me, and have had the opportunity of chatting with me one on one could definitely attest to the fact that I am not here to provide any false truths. I remember all to well living check to check, at one time no check at all. That's when I was introduced to a few individuals who changed my life forever. I began reading financially educating literature, listening to financially educating audio books, and also attending quite a few Free financially educating and personal motivating seminars. I did all of this to enhance my Financial IQ... and most importantly, all for FREE. If you are in fact serious about changing your financial situation by first changing your Mindset; I strongly recommend the following books: Secrets of The Millionaire Mind by: T. Harv Eker Think and Grow Rich by: Napoleon Hill Oh, and trust me... You won't have to ask if your Financial IQ has increased. When the time has come, you will know because you'll began to see money from a totally different perspective. I am always available for motivating and inspiring chat sessions. Feel free to contact me on AIM @ wh0isj0nGall (w/ zeros). I would like to end this response with my favorite quote: Riches Do Not Respond To Wishes. They Respond Only To Definite Plans Backed By Definite Desires, Through Constant Persistence. ~Napoleon Hill~ I never wish anyone luck because I do not believe in leaving success to chance. Re: Needing to vent
Get as angry as you want-venting among family is good for the soul. Do have one saying passed down thru the family that has helped me get thru things. Don't complain about having no shoes once you have met the man who has no feet....I lost both my parents in a car accident on June 5 of this year and it forced me to rethink my values and the way I wanted my life to go. Enough of that thou do feel free to contact me.....

Re: Needing to vent
No you are not alone. I think most of us are going through rough times now. I work as a Dept. Manager for Walmart and they are cutting my hours because they say they are not making money, (yeah right) But my favorite saying is " Let Go and Let God " It always works with us. Whenever we are short of money or dont know how we can pay something, it never fails, somehow we always manage to pull through. Just have Faith.

You are correct when you say "Let Go and Let God". However, things never just "works itself out"... it's all part of God's plan. The word of God says in Phillipians 4:19 that "My God shall supply ALL my needs according to His riches and Glory by Christ Jesus" (KJV) However, it's imperative to understand that Faith alone isn't enough... It says in James 2:20 that "Faith without Works is Dead" (KJV). Which basically means that one must be proactive if they intend to receive ALL that God has in store for them. I do not claim to be a preacher, but I can testify that the word of God works, if you work it. Another favorite quote of mine is: "God gives every bird a worm, but he does not throw it into the nest." That quote is pretty much self explanatory, but so true. God Bless, ~JG~

Re: Needing to vent
Wow! This thread sure hit home. I have become disabled and can not work. I am living with my mother and she is supporting us both on a 771.00 check every month. Now if that isn't a miracle then I don't know what is. When we get to no money something always happens and we get some A couple times was money from a credit card over charges us or something like that. God will see us through until I get my disability checks start coming in. I believe this.
My prayers go out to everyone who is need. God bless all of you. My favorite quote is: You can knock me down, but I will get right back up. (It just takes a little longer these days lol)

Thanks so much, and I really appreciate you connecting with me on Twitter. I also post productive information on there as well, daily... so I hope you enjoy my Tweets. Quote:
I really appreciate the positive response. I hope I didn't come off too harsh in my original post. I'm not the one to beat around the bush and I like to get straight to the point when it comes to helping others. I speak to individuals on a daily basis... every single day who want to vent. But they aren't aware of by venting, they are only making the situation worst. If you, or anyone reading this thread, haven't seen The Secretyet, I strongly suggest you do so. By emitting negative energy into the universe; that same exact energy has a way of returning to you. I remember when times were hard, I would rejoice and pronounce nothing but good and positive things into my life, and then align my actions with my new found teachings. Shortly after, I began to see phenomenal positive results. That's not to say that I don't still have hard days, cause Lord knows I do. But I don't focus on the negativity in my life. I came across this quote on Twitter early this morning and would like to share it with you guys: “A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her” If you're wondering why I'm always posting these kind of quotes, it's because they are positive quotes and I have one for every situation that I encounter in my life. I like to speak these quotes out loud when I encounter a rough situation. Remember, one must continue to educate themselves if they anticipate achieving their success. It's a Success Principle that should be taken very seriously folks. It is now early Monday morning and I believe you ALL are going to have a Prosperous and Blessed week. Also, remember... I'm available for one on one motivating/inspiring chat sessions throughout the week. So please don't hesitate to contact me. [B]God Bless, Jon Gall, U.S.M.C. Entrepreneur/Investor

Re: Needing to vent
Success is always going to hinge on how we function internally. IF internally we are confident yet humble, happy and in that, positive...then success is inevitable. However, the fastest and most solid method of changing internally will ALWAYS be working with the Lord, knowing His true spirit, delighting in the little things He blesses us with every day AND when He tests our boundaries, we turn it over to Him BEFORE getting totally overwhelmed:) Pride goeth before the fall and honorable intentions stem from need, not wants:) imho!
Motivation comes in many colors, many shapes and sizes and is most definitely an internal element...if we're honest about it, everything is internal as that is where our paradigm resides, along with our id and many other elements that constantly affect the decisions and directions we make...and take:) However, without a guiding spirit within, no amount of "speaking" is going to change anything except add a bit of psych that may or may not match His plan...and that is truly what it's all about:) As you have aptly mentioned, "My God shall supply ALL my needs according to His riches and Glory by Christ Jesus"....which simply stated is this...God will attend our needs, never our wants...His riches include the beauty of life and love, not to mention all that surrounds us in nature and the heavens:) Once we have enabled our visions and paradigms to include such marvelous miracles, we WILL change internally...as per His plan, eh? :) Just thinking out loud...it's all good, if'n we let it be...perhaps not having ref links may add a bit of credence...dunno...again, just thinking out loud. Find the true need within and that will be addressed and attended, eh? :)
