I tried to get on yesterday but I couldn't. Not sure if it was my computer or the site. But anyway, the reason I am posting right now is just more for therapy for me. Sometimes I think it's good to type out your feelings to total strangers who don't really know you just to get things off your chest. That being said....here goes.

Like many people in this world today, money is extremely tight. And though there are many opportunities to make money on the internet, you have to have money to do that. Well, my husband and I both work full time jobs and make enough money to cover the bills and leaves next to nothing at the end of the month for food, fun, unexpected things, etc. My son's b-day is today and yesterday I was so upset at the fact that I could not do much of anything for him. It seems that way every year. He seemed to accept it cause it's unfortunately the standard lately.

Somehow we manage to make do with food. We are a family of 4 with 3 dogs and I think I spend about $500 a month on groceries. With the way my son and husband eat, that does not cover a lot of food, especially with the cost of food these days. We make too much money for assistance so we just have to make due with what we have.

I know I'm not the only person who is struggling financially. I just needed to vent. I just wanted to feel that I was not alone, and I know I'm not. Thanks for the ear.

Not a problem. We are mostly all family here. Lot`s of us are there or have been there. You are NOT
alone. And we all need to speak out once in a while.

Dandy is right YOU are not alone....Im there myself but to top it off my husband filed for Divorce and refuses to give me money of any kind!!!! Only he will do the grocery shopping as I am not allowed according to his lawyer. And no I do not work..nothing here in good ol' Michigan.

So trust me on this one You are not alone!!!!!

I know I haven't been here much lately. I happened to run across this thread.

Everyone is right. We are family here. AND we all need to vent once in awhile. It's okay. We all understand as I think we are all in a pinch financially right now.

Money is tight. And it doesn't help when life throws those darned curve balls.

I hope everyone's situations get better. Let's all pray for better times financially, economically, health-wise, personally....

It's funny...have talked to a ton of folks this last month who are ALL suffering immensely and well, if I didn't know better, I'd say 2009 is the year of the dog for sure:)

What I would like to add besides a huge hang in there, it WILL get better...is to include in those prayers that whatever the Lord has in store for us is also the same as what we need:) He will always provide a method to attain our needs, He's proven that to me and the monk so many times this year alone, yet we've had to get past "wants"...that be something He doesn't do...and if it ain't in His plan, it ain't gonna happen....

2010 is right around the corner and the blessing is...a fresh start in a new year! May His mercy and compassion ensure that is so:) Blessings to all!

I lived for over 4 month without insurance, have a huge hospital bill now, finally found a new job and hopefully it goes up the hill from now ... Don't hesitate to spread your wings,

Thank you all for your comments and prayers. I know that God blesses us all the time even when we don't think it's gonna be ok. This week, we used all our money for bills and had only $60 to buy groceries with to last until mid month pay (which is two weeks). Well, I bought some groceries but not enough to last us until then. Well, I work for a church and they helped me out with a little cash $80 and then my mother-in-law's freezer was left cracked open and all her meat defrosted. She called me in a panic to come get some of that meat and cook it or prepare it for dinners or it would have to be thrown away.

Did God do that on purpose knowing that we needed the food? or is it a coincidence? I know that things will work out. I have a hard time looking into the future, I live everyday in the present. It's funny to me that when I think the worst, it always works out for the best.

However, I still want to make a little extra money to have at the end of each month. I'm human, I can't help that.
