Taken from an episode of Family Guy...post here about the crap that really annoys, frustrates, or pisses you off... we all need to vent!!

You know what really grinds my gears is when you read thru a long ass book that starts off kinda slow and then finally picks up enough to keep ya reading... and then gets really good with all kinds of story lines open and then just ENDS... total cliffhanger... and no tying up of story lines... so you know you will have to wait a year or more for the damned author to write another one to continue it... and that one better not be so damn slow in the first 200 pages!!!! And then... what if on the off chance the author dies or for some reason doesnt finish it?... ughhh that is the worst... can you say "Robert Jordan" and his series where i read what... like 12 books to come to the NON ENDING and he dies and now years later some other guy is going to try and finish the story...... and now Dianna Gabaldon just did it to me with the Outlander Series... i read and read thinking it would be as good as the last 6 books and the beginning just had no umph at all and then right when it gets good... bam... story over!!!! What happens to Jem? What about Brianna? What the hell....ughhhh... i know a good cliff hanger is nice now and then but usually at least SOME of the story lines get tied up first so you feel a little sense of satisfaction... oh boy

mmmm interesting idea here.... what grinds my gears.. well normally when i cant find 2nd gear in car they gears grind... but i dont think you mean that....lol....
what really burns me is when you go to the gym and you go 2 miles on the eliptical and you only burn 234 calories.... or you do 3 miles on the tread mile only to see you have burn a whopping 145 calories... UGHHHHH what is the point I ask?????? thats like not even a half of a piece of cake.... but i still go every weekend Saturday and Sunday and work out on my total Gym during the week!!! just shot me now!!! lol

I hear you 777, read all the time, and books like you are talking about, just keep me reading hoping something will happen. It does not. Scratch that author off the list. Not read them twice.
