Well, I'm not sure what thread he was speaking of, but I appreciate that you were big enough to see your own fault in the matter. I think we can all agree that focusing on the positive us always so much nicer than letting ourselves get sucked into the negative. Thanks for your continued support of the forum though. And like you, I hope that it does get back to where it was and surpasses it.

I have read many many threads before this that has been corrupted by the negativity that I mentioned. That is where my inspiration come from....I'm not so shallow as to post such a strongly worded thread over one simple overheated disagreement.
I don't really even understand why I give a damn..

This negativity is doing nothing to help promote this forum. In fact it is probably only discouraging people from signing up and trading here. So what purpose does it serve?

If you think FLR is dead! Then move on!

Don't troll around here in hopes of catching a few newbies that come along and then disrespect or downgrade the forum.

I don't agree with alot of the things that happened but I ain't ready to give up. If I was, I would say my piece and go on as some others have.

Problem here seems to be that some people wanna say their piece over and over again but refuse to move on. In fact, they wanna stick around and make discouraging posts and snide remarks. That is what is detrimental to the forum and any new traders we get.

This place used to be all about helping people, but a few people are using it as more of a conduit to bitch and complain. Not to mention the fact that you are sneakily promoting other trading forums by downing this one.

What disturbs me the most is that it is established members that are the among the culprits. You know who you are.

If you don't wanna give FLR another chance, then you should at least give it a rest. That way the newer members and the unwavering believers can try to take this opportunity to move on towards the future of FLR.

No matter what that future is. Even if it is a complete and utter failure. It has to be approached with confidence. The same confidence you had when you signed up for your first offer on a freebie site.

If we stick together and promote this site and share our knowledge. We can once again be members of the best damn forum on the internet.

But if we just sneak in and bump our threads and slither away to promote those "other" forums. We might as well shut the doors.

Well anyway.....I'm ranting again and almost forgot the moral of my story.

If you ain't got nothing good to say.....keep your mouth shut you bunch of trolls.

I agree with pdean37. If you don't like FLR, you should go to other forums and don't discourage new members with your negative remarks.

FLR has conveniently given us an Edit button for all of our posts...if things are being said to be snitty or snide (as has been the norm vs the exception....), then feel free to use it!

Forums are public places, and flr is no exception to that, so...we always need to keep in mind the power of positive...that IS what shows to the outside world and never forget how YOU look when folks read the negatives...that YOU have written:) To coin the recent comments surrounding our lil flr..."there's too much drama". lol...is that what YOU want to be remembered for? :)

It's still all good...this is a strong, righteous group, for the most part...so players unite and when an off day strikes....try taking that day off - just a thought - have a happy!!

Ok, here's my 1 cent ....... I have to say I've seen some pretty negative threads lately. Does negativity help us? Nope! Do we want to post how we feel? YUP! Can we do it in a less negative way? Probably!

Fact of the matter is that we are all here for the same thing. FLR was a best trading forum out there, no one could come close to the amount of traffic we received. Right now EVERY SINGLE other forum is slow as well. Does that mean we need to post negative remarks here? Nope! I don't see negative remarks on other forums ... so why here?

This is YOUR business not Admins, Not Glads so take what great knowledge that you have and run with it .... beat the streets and find those referrals and show them where their home should be.

This is my home and always will be no matter what other forums I'm a part of. So instead of all the negativity let's all try to be positive ..... positivity brings good things!

When I see rude and negative comments it really ticks me off. So I will join the others and say. If you don't like it then get the hell out of here. I am also tired of seeing it. FLR is my home, my one and only home, And I wouldn't give up on it until they close the doors and I don't see that happening any time soon.
