I'm sick of all the negative remarks about FLR showing up all over this forum.

I'm sure some of you are disgruntled over the many changes that have gone over in the last months. Not sure if they could be called "promises made" so who can say if the promises were broken?

What motivated the changes?.. Greed?.. Pride?...Unwise business decisions?... A need for change?

Who the hell knows and what difference does it make now?

What is done is done!

This negativity is doing nothing to help promote this forum. In fact it is probably only discouraging people from signing up and trading here. So what purpose does it serve?

If you think FLR is dead! Then move on!

Don't troll around here in hopes of catching a few newbies that come along and then disrespect or downgrade the forum.

I don't agree with alot of the things that happened but I ain't ready to give up. If I was, I would say my piece and go on as some others have.

Problem here seems to be that some people wanna say their piece over and over again but refuse to move on. In fact, they wanna stick around and make discouraging posts and snide remarks. That is what is detrimental to the forum and any new traders we get.

This place used to be all about helping people, but a few people are using it as more of a conduit to bitch and complain. Not to mention the fact that you are sneakily promoting other trading forums by downing this one.

What disturbs me the most is that it is established members that are the among the culprits. You know who you are.

If you don't wanna give FLR another chance, then you should at least give it a rest. That way the newer members and the unwavering believers can try to take this opportunity to move on towards the future of FLR.

No matter what that future is. Even if it is a complete and utter failure. It has to be approached with confidence. The same confidence you had when you signed up for your first offer on a freebie site.

If we stick together and promote this site and share our knowledge. We can once again be members of the best damn forum on the internet.

But if we just sneak in and bump our threads and slither away to promote those "other" forums. We might as well shut the doors.

Well anyway.....I'm ranting again and almost forgot the moral of my story.

If you ain't got nothing good to say.....keep your mouth shut you bunch of trolls.

P.S. I would ban all your worthless!

This forum is supposed to be pg-13....you can say the "f" word one time before a movie becomes R rated....and they say ass all day long on tv (even in commercials)
They even show asses in primetime.....I'm not trying to be vulgar....just trying to prove my conviction on the subject with my colorful language.
We are all over 18 here so why censor me?

My 2 cents again but I think the forum leaders need to camp on the doorsteps of our "NEW, IMPROVED" sites and either get them interested or kick them to the curb. I only keep them on my thread to fill up my page....

I'm sure others including myself say things that we mean at that very moment. Just because someone says something, it doesn't have to be taken to heart. Everyone has off days.

If these sites are not up to par then I would not put them on my page....Only trade sites that you are confident in and can assure your new traders that they are worthy to put in their portfolio.
FLR severed their ties with several awesome sites that I traded with several times. I have not traded with any of the newer sites nor do I intend to at the moment.
All the sites in the subforum should be closely moderated by FLR for dependability, customer service, and crediting issues to ensure that members are overall satisfied with their performance. Otherwise they do not belong here.
The members of this forum are in fact what makes this a forum.
If we intend to grow FLR then we need to work on these issues. If the members are going to be supplying the majority of the traffic. Then these members should be able to trade any sites that they see fit as long as they are reliable sites.
I wanna see FLR get back to what it used to be or even better. We don't need to have greed, grudges, or animosity as a factor in the rebuilding process. We need to do what works....plain and simple.

Yes, we all have our off days. And we all have said things that we later regret. I think what PD is speaking out against is the repeat offenders that have a track record for saying negative things about the forum. It's simply non-productive to focus on so much negativity. If people aren't happy with how things are going, then they should move on and stop bringing everyone else down who want to stay optimistic about things. That goes for everything in life, not just this forum or freebie trading.

I hear ya. But, I think the thread that he is speaking of....lol I did say some things that I only meant at that moment. So, I'm guilty just like a few others may be. I won't lie. lol

But, I do admit that FLR is my home and always will be. This is where I started and hope that one day it will be back to where it was or close to it.

I understand emotion and most people here can dig it......My point is that the new people visiting this site thru our affiliate links are checking us out.
They can read every thread posted and every negative post that is made to that thread....Some people don't really have much nice to say and hold grudges....They for some reason look for the negative in things and that has a tendancy to stir up negatives in others and next thing you know its an all out bitch-fest.
Do we want these new people to see that?
When someone posts in the intro thread saying"I'm new".....Everyone kisses their ass!...But they can still read all the other crap that is posted....Who's kissing ass then?
I'm not pointing fingers....just trying to get everyone to look at themselves.

You hit it on the head there my friend....was exactly my point.
Just wanna add that every response or argument that you add to these worthless posts only feeds the fire.
These assholes may not get banned but you can at least serve them the courtesy they deserve.....ignore them and they will go away!
