Hello.
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how to insert an animated .gif into a thread post or into my signature. I have tried every possible way through random instructions I found on the internet, but everytime I preview my signature or post before submitting, it just comes out as text (as you can see from my signature with the snoopy link, lol)
Any help would be appreciated guys. Cheers!

You cant put a image in your signature.
The forum will not allow it.

animation wont work in your signature but you can put animated pics in threads/posts just by inserting the pictures in the normal insert image brackets.... [IMG]image link here[/IMG]

As the others have said, you can't put one in your signature, but this is how I put them in my trade thread:

Got to Glitter Graphics: the community for graphics enthusiasts!

Find the pic. you want, open it up, highlight the second box, and then paste it in your trade thread!!

Thanks for the info guys. Well I did what you said Penney but when I click on the post 'preview' it just looks exactly the same with all the brackets and stuff, even with out an animation. Why is that? Anyone know?
p.s. I dont know the right method for responding to the help I get. I assume that I am doing right by just posting in my own thread, lol.

you will need to click the go advanced button at the bottom of your post then click the insert image icon and paste the code to your image in the box. this should give you what your looking for.

All i can find out is, animations are html and need to be bbcode. Been trying to load banners and get same thing, text { codes only }
