logging out problems - FreeLunchRoom - The #1 Freebie Trading Forum on the Internet!

I am having problems again with getting logged out all the time. I know this is a problem with my computer and not the forum but I do not remember how to take care of it. Any ideas?

Also I know you can set up your computer to be notified of my messages on the forum. I can't remember how to do that.

And last but not least can anyone tell me how to put a signature in your email. I want to link it to the FLR.

I thank you in advance for any help that you could give me. :)

To be notified of private messages via email, click the following link and check "Receive Email notifications of New private messages"

as for the sig on your emails, it depends what you use for your emails. gmal, hotmail, etc. it should be in the settings on the email website somewhere... in gmail you click on settings and then there is a box to put your signature.

I've noticed on my computer everytime I clear my cookies it logs me out. Maybe you can check your internet options to see if it is somehow auto clearing your cookies.

This is something that has happened since the update - even when u use this log-in page, http://www.freelunchroom.com/board/private.php, which is supposed to keep you logged in forever - if u don't post, u get booted off. VERY frustrating.

Unfortunately, it is very hard to put an attractive link in your gmail siggy, I mean like a text link.

To be honest, I don't know what causes this. I've sat with my computer on Live Feed for 30 minutes to an hour and then went to my profile and saw that my "online now" light had changed to "offline" but I was still logged in...or I wouldn't be seeing my profile. lol

And some get totally logged off...I have a few times but not often. Not sure anything can be done to change that.

Its one of those mysterious glitches. I've had that problem intermittently over the past year or so. For about a month or two, I kept get logged out, and then it straightened itself out. I have no idea what it is.

I think the "online now" light turns off if you're not actively surfing the forum....but I can't be sure. I have noticed the same issue as well.

Both, I can't find where he told me how to do it. And I don't remember. And now all of the sudden I have no sound on my computer. Just bought a mic. and am having problems lol I guess I need to go to bed
