Well first off I'd like to say that I'd like to see a place where FLR members can make suggestions on how to better the forum. Or if they wanna complain about something without having to try to figure out where they should post it.
Okay all that being said....guess what! I got a suggestion or 2....maybe complaints according to how you look at it.

First thing!....As many of you may have noticed FLR's traffic is not what it used to be. Many a times I have logged in and scrolled to the bottom of the page and seen that there are as many if not more guests online than there are members.
Well I don't know about ya'll but when I see this I ask myself "what the hell good is it having all these guests when we need new members that are ready and willing to trade?"

When I first visited FLR. It was because I was directed here through PPD. They made this place out to be the best thing since cold beer (or sliced bread if you prefer)!

Now since PPD hyped this place up I did not need to really to check it out much. I just looked around a bit to see if its easy to navigate and such. Then I'll become a member and start making cash.

So when is the last time anyone has taken a good look at FLR without being logged in? When is the last time you looked at it thru a new persons eyes? Somone that stumbled upon it without being sent here through PPD! Without the promise of making easy cash online!

I have noticed that if a person isn't logged in then they can see most all of the sub forums here....they can read all they want. They cannot post but they can read.

Well thats all fine and dandy....but if they don't know what freebie trading is or what its about then access to all these subforums are only gonna confuse the hell out of them.

The only subforum that these visitors cannot read is where you actually make the trades.....Paying for refferals .....G4G......Hmm!

Well I don't know bout yall! If I visit a place and only had access to read all the shit posted in all these subforums but was not only not given access to but was not even made aware that there was other subforums where the trading was taking place. Then I'd go check out the next big online money thing.

Okay I am done ranting but I would suggest that when it comes to guests. FLR access should be limited to the tutorials and maybe the live feed. Show the entire forum but do not grant them access to the subforums. In fact a popup that says something like " you are trying to access the paying for referrals section but it is unavailable unless you log in)

Not showing the money making sections to the new people is a mistake in my book. They will never become a member if they don't see where the money is!

Actually, overall, it's not such a bad suggestion and yes, for the first two weeks of updates, I spent MANY hours reviewing sections, tutorials, and even outside views...that be just the kinda gal I am...so I do truly understand your point BUT...and this is the only but I really have on this subject....SEEING "money" withOUT the mention of whether or not it's gross or net or a random figure....lol...is totally and completely misleading, thus................THAT is PPD, not flr:) lol....I can't begin to count the number of PPD "clients" that have crossed my path totally devoid of realistic expectations - whether they were my alleged refs, but usually those of others after encountering shell shock of what's real...and what's "envisioned". I ain't comfy with that, sorry.

Now, if we could find a way to add a disclaimer to the "money world" of flr, then I think that would be kewl - yet maybe it would be better if on that front screen there was something about 'to see how much this opportunity can bring' or something like that...ensuring they had to sign up in order to see it....hmmmm.....as it's free to sign up and use this forum, might that not be a viable alternative to just turning the whole cow over to them so they don't HAVE to sign up? :)

good thoughts... there use to be a suggestion box/thread... but with the changes hre it seems to have been taken out.. maybe it will be brought back....

Yes I totally agree with you about PPD referrals having unrealistic expectations. In fact when I was trading I had to bust many a peoples bubble that thought they could quit their job and make 5000 bucks a month.

I offered phone support and that was really hard when someone said their husband had been laid off and their 600 dollar house payment was due next week...."Can I make 600 bucks in time to pay my bill?"....Well!....Uh!....Erm!....probably not!

I lost about 1/4 of my trades by actually explaining the reality of how freebie trading works....but at least I can sleep at night.

Now my suggestion was not to hype FLR up as the ultimate online money opportunity as PPD did. But I feel that without being able to see the trading section these guests are not seeing the real opportunity available here at FLR.

They have access to every other forum here and can read each and every post...but if I were new then I would be asking myself "where is the money?"...This place may be great about explaining about how freebie trading works but I don't see any place to make money here.

My main point was that there is too much info given out about how freebie trading works and nowhere near enuff info about how to use FLR to make this money with freebie trading.

So the entire point of my first post is this.

SHOW THE TRADING SECTION TO THE GUESTS THAT ARE VISITING FLR...HAVE A POPUP THAT SAYS SOMETHING LIKE " This is the trading section where members of FLR trade and make money....you do not have access until you sign up!"

These visitors think that they have access to the entire forum and do not realize that they are missing the trading section..."where the money is made"....So perhaps they say to themselves "Hmmm...I could probably make some money doing this freebie trading stuff!....Wonder if there is a forum that I could find where people are willing to trade instead of just talking about it?

That was my entire point....people are not mislead or misinformed....They are underinformed about how FLR works as a freebie trading forum and an opportunity to make money.

They are also given access to too much information without being a member.....This information overload can be detrimental to their decision to start freebie trading without being able to ask questions.

So I suggest limited access to only reading the thread topics in certain sections without being able to read the actual thread posts...TRADING SECTION.....hint!... hint!

We want them to know that this is a friendly forum and a place to have fun....but it is also a place to make extra cash....keyword "make extra cash here at FLR"

Okay! What started as a post...turned into another rant but one last comment.

Monksmom mentioned giving away the cow....well the way I see it is that FLR is telling you how to raise the cow....how to feed the cow....how to milk the cow....but they ain't letting these new people know that we also buy and sell dairy products in the trading section.

If this is indeed a suggestion area, one suggestion I would like to see is an auto PM to let us know when we get a new referral so they can be properly greeted and acknowledged so they know there is indeed life out there to talk to.

Um...whatcha meaning, Miss D? Don't you get notified when you get a new pm? I "see" mine in my email box first and that's always nice...if any of us get a new referral, they are still to contact us first...sorry if I'm confused, might you elaborate for this old & sometimes really slow gal? :)

lol yeah, I got like 22 referrals to FLR and never know where they come from and that they are here

Ahhhhhhh.......whelp, it ain't a bad idea to ask folks coming in to sent you a friend request or drop a line. If you're just getting random referrals, perhaps putting a "contact me" section in your request to them or even saying after signing up, click this link - and it be your profile page:)

If you look at the statistics page of new users, you will see if they have been referred and by whom, if that helps any:)
