FLR Members,

After months of hard work, we are excited to show you guys what we have been working on! We appreciate the patience that you have all shown while we were slowing things down to work on these features. It was very important for us to focus on these features before we started getting newbies in here. Without further ado the largest FLR update ever:

1) New Design

Structurally, no significant changes have been made to the forum. It should be fairly easy for most people to just pick up where they left off from the old design. The biggest thing you'll notice is the navigation drop down up top under Tools. Nearly all of the new features we'll be presenting can be found under this menu. Check it out!

2) FLR Instant Messenger

If you look on the bottom of your browser window, you'll see FLR's in-house instant messenger. Your buddy list is populated from your friends list. This is something we have been working on for a very long time, all the way back to when we first introduced the social networking elements like friending. Your buddy list is populated from your Friends List. You can set yourself to be available, busy, or invisible. You can also set your own status message. This status message is independent of the forum status message. Now you don't have to worry about if the person is on AOL, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, etc. As soon as they are logged in they will pop up on your buddy list. It works on all of the pages so you can navigate freely and still use the chat simultaneously.

3) New Freebie Sites

We're excited to reveal the new freebie sites on FreeLunchRoom! We've been helping these new site owners with design work, hosting, offer inventory, and we're very excited for them to be launching! A few actually impressed us to the point where we ended up acquiring them. They will still handle all of the day to day operations, the only difference is you have the name of FreeLunchRoom to guarantee that you'll be paid! You'll find a great selection of offers at great credit values. The new site owners will be individually announcing themselves and their own promotions in the next few days as well.

4) Uniform and Centralized Tutorials

Check out the new tutorials area where you'll find the entire guide to freebies. Between this and the FAQ every bit of information new members and traders alike can find out everything they need to know. We'll continue to update this for the next few days as it still needs to be refined in some areas. You can find them here.

5) FLR Helpdesk

Now you don't need to worry if a moderator or admin is on at the same time. You can submit support tickets to us and it'll be available to all of the staff to reply to in an organized and logged system. This way any of the moderators or admins can help with your request and see what the prior response or conversation was. You can find it under the Help button on the top navigation bar.

In addition, they way we've designed it, the forum will be much more self sufficient where you'll find the tutorials, FAQ (which also has been updated) and HelpDesk to answer 99% of the questions so make sure to familiarize yourself with them.

6) New iTrader Upgrades

Three big bug fixes are implemented; now you can read the details of the trade feedback. The second being the broken link from the PM stating you've received feedback and it will now correctly go to your iTrader page to view the feedback. Lastly, the bug where anyone could leave feedback regardless if you had a trade setup has been fixed.

The former account Twitter that had our name was false one so this one is actually us. Make sure to become a fan and follow us for updates. Help spread the word about FreeLunchRoom!

We'll be adding a bunch of new banners you can use to promote FreeLunchRoom in the next few days. They'll show up under the Referrals page.

8) FLR Freebie Site Promotion!

This applies to all of the FLR Freebie sites ( FreeForAllMankind.com, Prizebook.com, MyReferralCash.com, MyTurnToEat.com, Jabooya.com, and Cravem.com). We're giving away 100 free greens on each site. The first 10 people to cashout on all of the FLR Freebie sites will get a $100 bonus!

9) Sticky Thread Order Coming Soon!

We'll be announcing when the next sticky order will be within a few days once everyone gets settled in.

There are still a few more major updates and features coming but we need more time to debug and work out a few kinks. We'll have a separate announcement when new features come out. Take a little time to familiarize yourself where everything is and enjoy!

PS - Although we have been testing the site extensively for the past few weeks, we realize that there will be some bugs that we couldn't foresee. We're launching this before we open up our traffic so we can take care of these issues. If you find any errors, please take a screenshot and document as much as you can about how you got the error and where it is so we can replicate it. Thank you FLR members!
