Hello everyone. I have been a member for a couple of weeks now and have lurking around, so I decided to introduce myself. My name is Tina and I am a SAHM. I am relatively new to Freebie Trading. I just completed my first trade a few days ago. I have done a few DIY offers. I am really excited to start going green more and helping out with my family's income.

I am new to FLR, and so far I like the site. Still learning my way around, so mods - please bear with me if I post in the wrong place!

As for everyone else, I am here to share ideas and experiences about how to benefit from various offers / schemes on line, as well as learn more from others' experiences. I am kind of a novice at the whole world of online business, but have sniffed out a few things and hopefully will learn a lot more.

Well, here's hoping we can benefit from each other

Hey everyone my name is Natedub!

First off I have almost completed my first trade as a method 1 approach and am having nothing but troubles. Mainly due to me being in the UK! I'm in London and it seems this really works best for people in the USA. Some of the offers I could choose were not available to me since I am in the UK and others had just plain expired! Also another frustrating thing was the descriptions on the offers in regards to the requirements being false. Example was one offer said I could pay any dollar amount after signing up to get credited, this however was completely false as there was a minimum which was $10. Considering my payout for all the time this has taken and problems is only $15 it seems like a promising and exciting start has turned into a gloomy and depressing dead end!

This is definitely not what I had anticipated. Is there anyone here from the UK who is doing this and maybe able to mentor me?

Read & Heed -Here's Some Good Starter Advice:

DON'T run blindly into this. Realistic expectations are essential - good side money but you will spend nickels and dimes to make dollars as a referral.

DON'T get involved in multicredit sites to start with...tempting as the money may be it will usually cost you more in the long run...

DON'T get too excited when you see your flr name flash up in posts! It's just a simple code that fills with the user name:) No magic...just keystrokes.

DON'T use a proxy server, especially AOL & even Hughes Satellite is causing issues - not to mention college campuses and other public areas! Huge No-No!

DO be paypal verified - have a "real" credit card (not reloadable/prepaid) or bank card for offers - prepared to give valid data when signing up for sites and offers, and know how to clear cookies and cache (temp internet files) and disable your firewall - or use Firefox as an alternative browser! IE 7 won't cut it, fyi.

DO be prepared with knowing the basics from reading and checking out Freebie Help. Research a good mentor/trader to start with - someone you feel comfy with. Know going in that offers carry different values and it may take you a few offers to make 1 credit=1 green = Paid!

DO remember your mantra......Cookies are what credit offers and if your cookies aren't cleared or you aren't set to accept all cookies, whelp...odds are pretty high you won't green=paid.

DO be aware that unrequested contact from a trader is spam, including pms, friendship requests, visitor messages & trades in your Trade Manager you didn't ask for! DO NOT RESPOND! Report it - it's against the rules here. You will NOT be the "bad guy"! That's what our moderators are for - to keep flr "clean".

***If you are coming to us from another forum, PLEASE read flr's rules for traders so you can get a great start...right...and truly enjoy all we have to offer!


DO visit around the forum and check out this awesome tutorial index and when you're ready, add your name to the list for friends and feel free to add others to YOUR list...you'll be pleased you did:)

DO muster up some patience and have a positive attitude...learn, earn, laugh and enjoy!

Hello, 'evil'....lol....what a name:) So lurking is good and very wise...taking your time here is important for how you start is indicative of your success:) Make sure to get feedback for that trade...tr, especially when you are starting out, is critical and the more you obtain, the more doors that open! Just make double sure you've done a great job of record keeping with those offers....we can't do the same offer twice and we can't do the same site twice...either one is fraud and that ain't good:) Enjoy your stay, don't forget to play and more importantly, keep smiling - it really IS all good:)

Woohoo, go Paul, go:) lol...you seem very in tune to the ways of the net and that will definitely give you an upper hand in the wonderful world of trading on our fabulous flr:) There's a ton to read here to give insight to the experiences and preachings of many so feel free to browse and when you're ready, make sure you hit up folks who feel comfy to you...no different than any other online thingy, if it seems too good to be true, there's gonna be a catch:) And no worries about our awesome mods...if you are complying with the rules of the forum, they will simply relocate anything that may be out of whack...promise:) Best of luck and happy greening!!

Wow, Nate...you are having issues for sure yet even though the UK may be a part of it, you are also listing issues found for everyone in the world of freebie trading and no, I realize that's not what you want to hear but there are hiccups...in all countries allowed:) It sounds to me like your first trade site is perhaps not the best choice for you and in all honesty, you really do need to research the networks you are thinking about working upfront...git-r-free will prove of great benefit to you, along with a couple others but past that...at least it's enough to get you rolling:) Go with the small, easy sites first...they require less offers, still pay decently (especially if you can get your trader(s) to add bonuses for your extra efforts!!), and will start climbing that trader rating...without kicking your bootie too much on the way.

No one can "volunteer" to help you due to our no first contact rule, but with a bit more effort around the forum, you will manage to find a few to walk you through and over this hump:) Wishing you much luck, a huge amount of patience and of course, God bless!
