If you’re absolutely brand-new here and want to know what it’s all about, you can go here:

If that’s too basic for you, (You’ll know within 30 seconds of the time you start reading it–if you’re not bored by then, you should read it all) then it’s time to get started.

After you’ve convinced yourself, if you want to just dive right in, you can contact someone who’s making money to ask them how, or you can read the advertisements for people looking to trade with you here:

That’s not necessarily the way to go, though. Being able to write a convincing advertisement doesn’t make you a good teacher/mentor. If you do a bit of enjoyable research, you can do better. I’d recommend you start by learning the rules here:

It’s better to start this way, because no-one gets paid to answer questions, so the people that do aren’t writing advertisements, they’re genuinely interested in helping. Read carefully and critically–people say a lot about themselves when they post. Find someone who seems to know what they’re talking about–or someone who you’ll be comfortable working with.

You can learn more about any trader by clicking on the “signature” at the bottom of his post. When you decide that you’ve found the right person to work with, send them a PM.

Hi to both of you and welcome to FLR. The best way to get started is to go to FLR Tools and then click Tutorials and Rules. If you then still have questions, go to Support and Help and ask us. We are all willing to help you. If you want to test a particular person to see if they would be a good mentor, send them a question via PM to see how they respond. Once you feel ready to trade, go to Paying for Referrals and select someone you are comfortable with to guide you as you gain experience. Good luck and best wishes!

Are you brand new? The first thing to do once you've looked around a bit and read the rules is to decide on someone that you'd like to work with exclusively for at least a few days or longer so they can show you the ropes and help you start to make money. If you find one of us who actually WANTS to make sure you learn everything right, then you'll be much better off than if you just decide to trade with a few random people and try to learn on your own. That is easily one of the main reasons many people give up on this within their first few days and also lose money in the process.
