It’s perfectly reasonable to find a mentor there, too. No-one gets paid to answer questions, so the people that take the time to do so aren’t writing advertisements, they’re genuinely interested in helping. Read carefully and critically–people say a lot about themselves when they post. Find someone who seems to know what they’re talking about–or someone who you’ll be comfortable working with.

You can learn more about any trader by clicking on the “signature” at the bottom of his post. When you decide that you’ve found the right person to work with, send them a PM.

Hello everyone. I joined this site awhile back but never got into doing something with it and now I want to get started by going green for others. I'm trying to get familiar with the different areas of the site and how it works. Anyway just saying hello for now.

Read & Heed -Here's a Lil Start Up Advice:

DON'T run blindly into this. Realistic expectations are essential - good side money but you will spend nickels and dimes to make dollars as a referral.

DON'T get involved in multi-credit sites to start with...tempting as the money may be it will usually cost you more in the long run...

DON'T get too excited when you see your flr name flash up in posts! It's just a simple code that fills with the user name:) No magic...just keystrokes.

DON'T use a proxy server, especially AOL & even Hughes Satellite is causing issues - not to mention college campuses and other public areas! Huge No-No!

DO be paypal verified - have a "real" credit card (not reloadable/prepaid) or bank card for offers - prepared to give valid data when signing up for sites and offers, and know how to clear cookies and cache (temp internet files) and disable your firewall - or use Firefox as an alternative browser! IE 7 won't cut it, fyi.

DO be prepared with knowing the basics from reading and checking out Freebie Help. Research a good mentor/trader to start with - someone you feel comfy with. Know going in that offers carry different values and it may take you a few offers to make 1 credit=1 green = Paid!

DO remember your mantra......Cookies are what credit offers and if your cookies aren't cleared or you aren't set to accept all cookies, whelp...odds are pretty high you won't green=paid.

DO be aware that unrequested contact from a trader is spam, including pms, friendship requests, visitor messages & trades in your Trade Manager you didn't ask for! DO NOT RESPOND! Report it - it's against the rules here. You will NOT be the "bad guy"! That's what our moderators are for - to keep flr "clean".

***If you are coming to us from another forum, PLEASE read some simple rules for traders so you can get a great start...right...and truly enjoy all we have to offer!


DO visit around the forum and get comfy with all flr has to offer. We are undergoing forum changes so it'll just keep getting better yet patience and using the search function ain't a bad idea:)

Repeat after me...there are NO dumb or stupid questions if'n you don't know the answer!

DO muster up some patience and have a positive attitude...learn, earn, laugh and enjoy!

Good to have ya back, mystic:) Many good folks have found it pretty easy to stop and start in the wonderful world of freebies...lol...after all, life does and is gonna happen! Can't help but be comfy here...this great forum still remains "home" to many of us! Just make sure you've browsed the rules to refresh and have tracked offers you've done before so ya don't get hit with fraud anywhere...that always bites a big one:) Other than that, have fun...enjoy..and happy trading!
