I was scammed by 3 different people. The first one was the first trader I had ever worked with and I was too new to realize he should have paid me right after I greened on the first site. When I notified him, he replied "Great! Do you want to do another site?" Idiot that I am, I replied that I did.

Also, most of our "correspondence" was through email. Another sign that I wasn't aware of because of being new. If I hadn't been trading with legitimate traders by the time I realized I had been scammed, I probably would've stopped doing sites in disgust with my stupidity.

I had two successful trades with the second person to scam me. So, I said yes when he asked if I was interested in doing 3 more sites. I completed the sites, notified him that I had greened and didn't hear back from him. (I recently found out he has been banned.)

The third person also mysteriously vanished when it came time to pay me. (Sucked into a black hole in cyberspace or abducted by aliens? It's a mystery.)

This is a very useful post and I would like to share the link with anyone new if that would be okay.

Thanks for the information.
I know how you feel. I have been on this site for a while now and have not experienced any scam (yet). However I am in A4F and have been scammed 2 times already and waiting for others to finish their side of the deal.

The first one was suppose to be a ref 4 ref trade. After I completed my side of the deal I pm'ed the trader telling him I greened for his site and it was his turn. He said he would do my site but never did. Come to find out that he is about to be banned for doing the same thing to other traders. I contacted the site I ref for him (gaming.*************) and they are trying to solve the problem.

The second one was the paying for fast green scam. I got a pm saying he wanted to do my 360elite4free and we agreed for $15. He greened quick on my site and i paid him 3 days later. He then sent me another pm saying he greened again. It was under a different email address but asked for payment under the same paypal email. I got suspicious and start asking questions. He said his sister did the offer and asked for payment. To make a long story short he did not responded back after he figured out I knew something was wrong.

I wish i read this before doing those deals. Thanks for the post, I bookmarked it and it is VERY VALUABLE infomation!! It is messed up not only because of a waste of time/money, but because it is trades that i could have done for someone else and would have got positive feedback from.

Question About the trade manager

I am new and I have greened alittle bit .My question to you is if
someone sets up a trade for you in the trade manager, are you required to
take it?.What I am finding is that people advertise on here for a site
with multiple links, you follow 1 link and it looks good (lots of $1 offers
etc),so you agree to have them set it up in the trade manager but
when you follow the LINK THEY SEND YOU..the offers are entirely different.
I don't want to get a bad rep ,I am new but it seems that if this happens
you should not have to confirm the trade without consequences..
Please advise.

You are not bound by any formal contract when you confirm a trade. If you confirm the trade and after signing up on the site and checking out the offers, you decide you can't go green, just communicate back to the person you are trading with that you want to cancel.
It is always a good practice to check out the offers on a site before setting up a trade for that site. Ask the person you are trading with to provide you with the link to the site's offer page. Check out the Offer forum for information on the different offers. Ask the person you are trading with if they can provide you terms and conditions for an offer. All these things can be done to research offers before a trade is ever created.

But if you ask a person to cancel a trade can they give you a negative score in the trade manager that will show up on your TR?

As it stands now the only way to leave feedback in the trade manager is on a trade that has been completed from both parties. So if a trade is cancelled then there will be no way to leave feedback.

FLR is upgrading and making enhancements. I do not know if there will be a way to leave feedback on uncompleted trades. I would hope that traders don't leave (-) feedback for others who could not complete the trade. As long as you stay in communications with the person you are trading with all should be good.

What would you do in a situation where you have been doing a site for about a month and are having trouble getting the final part of your credit to go green? I have had to do a credit request for all of the offers that i have done on that site and even done more offers and I have now one 1/4 credit offer that I am waiting on...Do you think that this is too long to do a trade? When is it ok to cancel?

depends on the you and the trader. If the site is a green 4 life unlimited order site. I usually don't cancel those trades unless I am not planning to cash out again on that site. If you are having trouble getting credits, you may want to investigate why you are not getting credits. If you keep going back to get credits and are having success, maybe there is a reason why.
