This really helps if the offer doesn't credit immediately. Most sites accept MCR after 7days. Git R Free actually accepts after 3 days which is kind of cool.

Yup it's a great thread and might prevent people from jumping to conclusions and posting angry threads about offers not crediting.

You explained this very well. I know you need to wait usually 7 days before a MCR is sent. You covered everything and now I can just show a new trader this thread and they can refer back to it. Great post again you put together. Thanks

I can attest to the fact that even the same person can have differing crediting experiences by doing things differently. When I first started doing freebie sites in March '08, I was using IE for my offers. I did my best to follow the clearing cookies, enabling pop-ups, etc. as I was instructed. In short, I had problems with four offers not crediting during my first 5 freebie sites. One eventually credited after 8 days. I needed to submit other orders to replace the ones that did not credit in order to green the sites.

Since then, I have switched to Firefox for my orders. I follow the procedures that I learned during training, but now I actually review the cookies before I submit the offer. If I don't see any cookies from the company offering the free trial or product, I close out of the offer, clear everything, and start the process over again until I see the cookies. Using Firefox and my new method, I have been credited for 100% of my offers. Moreover, I have consistantly received credit, if not instantly, within the same day, usually within 20 - 30 minutes.

You could argue that the difference may be attributable to the fact that I have learned how to process orders better with more experience. I don't think so. I think it was due to my switch to Firefox from IE.

On my PC you can look at them by going to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Cookies

You can always do a search on your PC to see where the cookies folder is on there. I'm not sure if it's the same for all computers but whatever is on your C Drive is your IE cookies.

Firefox makes it easy to delete cookies and crediting is better too.
