Thanks so much this was very very helpful. I saw in several of the tutorials I have read that you can't use a proxy and had no idea how to find out. This really helped :)

A couple sites might accept a member with an AOL proxy, but the member would need to supply a ton of private information first.

I have run the lagado proxy test; i downloaded a "check my IP address" add-on thru Google; i did 2-3 other checks on my IP and everything says that i DO NOT HAVE A PROXY RUNNING......However, the other day, one of my offers alerted me with a security alert, that my transaction had been logged with my unique IP address of ---------. and the address was not my current address. The offer was done on this same computer at this same location....any ideas anyone? Should i be alarmed?
Is there going to be retribution of any kind from this? I have been credited and paid for this offer almost t wo weeks ago...

Thanx for any insight.

How different from your IP was the one they showed you? Was it very similar, or was it COMPLETELY different?

Either way, it sounds like you will be fine. I wouldn't worry.
