Ok, not sure if this would belong here or at in the going green help. .. so bear with me.

I have a G4G going on right now, I went first - went green.
Waiting for them to go green for a few days now. They have been excellent with communication. So I know they did eMusic on Trainn and so now we're waiting, although it has been more than the 2-3 days the offer states.

I got an e-mail from them today saying that they don't have internet right now so they've been using a friends computer to log in to the site to check on the status and will use the friends computer when it's been long enough to put in a MCR.

From what I can tell they used their own computer to sign up for the account and complete the offer.

I am just a bit worried though, with all the talk about IP addresses and stuff. . . .is it ok they've been using another person's computer to log in and check the status? And will it mess up when they put in an MCR using someone else's computer?

Thanks for any input!

It depends on the site because some sites say "no multiple IP addresses" while others don't mind as long as none of the addresses match other users on the site. Trainn tends to be picky about things so I have a feeling the person might be asked to send in proof of identification.

If they are using their friend's computer at their house(as opposed to the friend's house), then there wouldn't be an IP problem at all....if your referral is using their friend's computer at their house(the ref. house), then they would still have the same internet connection, so it wouldn't be affecting their IP address.

i would just advise them to put in a support ticket with trainn.have them explain the situation. that will take all of the guess work out of everything. then they know exactly what will happen. also you might want to get ahold of them and see if they will allow you to put in the mcr for your refferral, being as their internet is down.
