I am new to this and would like to get started with referrals. I cant pay alot but will take offers but i am willing to go green in return for someone to go green for me. Please respond

Welcome to FLR first off!! :-)

You should really try to get your iTR up first. The type of trade you are referring to is a g4g. You would need a site that you have already greened to offer someone in order to do that type of trade. And, for the most part, the person with the lower iTr greens first. It will be a little hard to find someone to g4g with you since your rating is a bit low and g4g are good targets for scammers.

To protect yourself you should really start with getting paid to go green only. Lots of traders are paying well for you to green their sites. After you have a few trades under your pocket, you will be better equipped to do a g4g.

Just browse around the paying for referrals thread, if something catches your eye, contact the trader. They can get you going from there.

Best would be to green for others, you can find a lot of great traders in the paying for referrals section of the forum.

Being that you are new, it is best to start there, to learn the trading process and to get familiar with everything.

Also, check out the member tutorials - a lot of great info there.

Hi there,
Well first off, I believe you should first complete the sites you have in the trade manager that were already set up for you as your requested then you can go on to other commitments.


You will not get alot of traders right now since A. you are new, and B. Your tr is at a 0.

You need to first start out with greening and then continue on to your green for greens.
But as i said above you first need to complete your sites you have with others before you jump into g4gs. or at least do both if you can....

You have been given good advice about how to get started with trading...I would like to just add one thing...before you even begin to trade, it is a great idea to read the FORUM RULES. Knowing the rules will help you to trade safely. Good luck!

Yes, rules are important and you should have read them by now so you would know you are under no obligation to complete any trade at any time. However, not working them, especially since offered up by a decent trader, you're not helping yourself much as there's no money coming into paypal and more importantly, you're not upping that trader rating, eh? We won't even mention that without good, easy and user friendly sites, you've not got much to offer others:)

This is all about you as a new person here on the forum and if you are also new to freebie trading, you need to realize there's a path before you that precedes the road to success...which is turning trader:)

If you believe that green for green with another trader would work best for you, then hit the g4g area, find a few folks who are also lower trs (as they are more likely to finish the trade and not leave you hang...sorry, but this seems to be truth!) and make double sure there is something in the trade manager to stipulate how long it should take BOTH of you to finish the trade, what will happen if one or the other goes red/credit revoked AND how often communication should take place between you until the sites are done.

Initially, you are actually better suited to just run with a few simple (half credit or one offer to credit is good) sites, put a few dollars in paypal and get a tr going...THEN worry about the other as by then, you should have a far better and more knowledgeable understanding of what's really going on and how it works:) lol...the process is simple yet there are a few things that can hiccup along the way and it is often far simpler, when learning, to learn through your trader vs potentially hitting a wall...good luck!!

Yeah I agree with kandykis1006. It's best to read up first on trading. Then setup your first trade with an experience trader and he will pay you once you complete the trade. He will not only put cash in your pocket, but he will train you and teach you more.
