It's when a trader greens for you on a site and you green for them on a comparable site in exchange.

G4G or R4R means a trade where you exchange green referrals with your trade partner. In my opinion, it's the most profitable way to make money here, as you are getting 100% of payout from your site once your partner greens it. Happy trading!

In order to do a G4G trade, you will have to go green on a site. When you do that, the site becomes yours to use to get referrals for.

Then you can be a referral for someone else, and they will be yours, and you both get the prize from the site. This is a great way to start menthod 2.

You need to be a referral first, so you have some sites that you can use. Hope this helps!

Yeppers, several great answers so far that definitely cover the basics, but let me add a couple little things as the devil does ride high in the details within freebie trading:)

First off, unless you're encountering a g4g with someone who also has a zero/0 tr, you will have to go first, working the trade first then when you've greened, they are supposed to do their side of the deal.

In that, should you happen to have picked up some trade sites somewhere along the line and decide to work a few g4g's, make double sure you put stipulations into the trade manager to cover both your ass-ets in the event of a trade going south. A less than admirable practice of traders is to get into a g4g with lower tr folks and then last minute decide they can't work their end of it...soooooo.....make sure there's some kinda stipulation on that in the trade manager.

Also...if your chosen trade partner should not like stipulations you may request and not willing to compromise to your satisfaction, MOVE ON! They were not going forward with the best of intentions and you'll prolly save yourself a few headaches:) Good luck...and make sure you have decent sites to begin with, eh? :)
