When you created a thread, it goes to the top. To bump a thread, you need to be in your thread, and click thread tools and bump thread. Replies to threads do not bump a thread, so if you are looking at the dates of last reply to thread, they will appear to not be in order, when in actuality they are in order of when they were bumped.

Hey rubik Kandy hit it square on the nose. chances are that when you finished your thread and posted it it went right o the top. then as everyone else started to bump their threads it was moved down. so you just need to bump your thread to get it back to the top. but be careful because you can only bump in a 24 hour period. so if you waste them say bumping every time your not in the #1 position. your gonna end up on the bottom of the list of off the first page all together real fast. got it got it gooooooood. and jsut remember there are other ways to get your thread noticed. your signature can be a very powerful tool. plus the more you post the more it gets noticed. and the more you get known around the forum. the more you are trusted etc etc.

Just wanted to add, I think JT just left it out, no biggie.

But you get 3 bumps. They each reset after 24 hours. So say you bump at 11am, 1pm and 5pm, the next time you can bump would have to be at least 24 hours after the 11am bump. If you then decide not to bump again until after 5pm, by then you would have 2 bumps to use. I know it sounds complicated, but once you start bumping you will learn how it works. It will make more sense. If you go to thread tools at anytime, it will tell you how many bumps you have. If it shows 0 bumps, go ahead and try to bump and it will tell you how many minutes until the next bump becomes available.
