What is Trading Referral for Referral?

Trading referral for referral is where you be a referral on someone's site in exchange for them being a referral on your site.

Why would I trade referrals as opposed to paying for referrals?

With trading referrals, it is more times than not cheaper than paying for referrals. Usually you end up paying upwards of $20 for a referral. When trading referrals the only payment (if any) is the cost of the offer on the other member's site. Since many offers are free and cheap, you could be getting referrals free or for only a few dollars.

These are some helpful tips for those who are trading Green4Green (or considering it):

- Try NOT to trade greens with someone with an itrader less then 2 or 3. Why? because if they have that at least that many you will know they have been successful more than once at greening for others and have a good foundation in freesite trading. Trading with someone who has 1 or less itrader is alot more risky.

-Trade greens on equal sites based on PAYOUT PER REFERRAL, not anything else. This will ensure you a much fairer trade. Too many are being taken advantage of based on trading "1 credit" sites. BEWARE! Not all 1 credit sites are equal.
If you are going to trade sites that have a different payout per ref then a monetary compensation can be made to make it a fair trade.
For example: Your site pays $40 a ref and theirs pays $60 a ref
You trade green for green and they pay you an extra $20 for your green.

That would even out the trade. You can calculate this with any sites based on differences between payouts. You can also compromise on this too.
You can also balance them by doing more than one site for the other if you do not want to send any cash (again calculate based on payout per referral).

-Make sure to put all your stipulations in the trade manager when setting up the trade. Too many folks set up their G4G and then when one fails to keep up their end the other thinks they have no recourse. When asked if they put any provisions in the trade manager they usually say "No".

So put in such things as:
*Time Limits for registering and greening
*Who goes first and if one has to be completely green or if you will alternate doing offers till both are finished
*What will happen if one of you cannot finish the trade for any reason,
; ie how much money will be required to be paid for the green or if a green on another site will be required instead

- Make sure to discuss ALL these things and agree on them BEFORE you exchange links. Then set it up in the trade manager. THEN do the trade.

One other thing to consider is to check with others your potential G4G trader has worked with. As some, unfortunately, are a type of scammer that say they will trade greens yet once YOU are they say can't complete their end of it and will just have to pay you for your green.
Now why is this bad? because they do this as an underhanded way to pay for referrals. They never had any intention of greening. Sad that some folks do this but if you check around you will have a good chance of finding out if they have made a habit of doing this to others.

One last issue is that a lot of folks want to base their trades on the number of offers required. This is just not a reasonable way to pick trades. Even on TRAINN sites! Why because there is just no way to determine how many offers will be needed for a person to green or what the person will spend so this is a very unwise way to determine the fairness of a trade.

I have done quite a number of Green4Green trades and only had one time where the deal fell thru (it was on my end- no offers credited and there were no more I could do). I ended up paying them for their green. All the rest have been a great experience.

i need help, i offered to trade referall for referral with someone, i completed my offers,but the other person hasn't completed . i sent msgs and tried to put referral on wish4frr, but nothing is happing. i am new and i have been reading all tutorials. guidence will be helpful.

If I am already registered to a site lets say Jockmonster. If someone want's me to complete an offer for green for them can I go green for multiple people on the same site?

That's a good question ... I was thinking once you do a site for green, you can't go green there again. But I'm still learning things too.

No the rules are you can only sign up for a site 1 time and only complete an offer 1 time, hope this helps. Also, on green4green make sure there is a time frame for each of you and a solution as to how you are going to deal with it if one of you can't green.

Normally when this happens it gets treated as a paying for greens.

Sorry if this question is redundant, but am I understanding correctly....if you do g4g with someone(s) and they are merely acting as your referral 'cause you already did the offer part for someone else, then all is good? And...that for some sites, you may only fulfill the elements necessary for one "bigger" offer and then move on once you've received that item?

Example. My son wants a wii but I can't afford it. However, on yourfreenintendowii4free one could get that wii....after completing offer and obtaining referral. Offer's already been done for someone else. Element remaining is referrals...right?

I'm sorry...sometimes I am realllllllllly slowwwwwwwwww.....:)

once you complete the offer requirements on any site then yes...you are done with completing offers there ...it then becomes your site to refer people to. Some sites you can do only once like the yourfreenintendowii4free...so after you load it up with your refferals and cash out with the wii that site will be done and you can't do it again. TRAINN sites can only be cashed out on one time!!!

but if you did a site for someone else in a trade then you would not use that site in a green for green with another individual! You would need to actually green a site for them and they would need to actually green a site for you!

I am new here but I have some really nice sites that I need referrals on and I will be your referral on sites you refer to me. Some of these sites have offers as free,pay instantly and have offers from 1.00 and up..
