That is why I posted this, it can be a scary thing when you're new.
How many times have you seen that on a traders thread? If you go red, I'll huff and I'll puff!!
It was a little intimidating! I don't post it on my thread but I would let them know if it ever happens no biggie, just fix it!

Unless like Lois said it could be a fraud or something illegal.
I'm wondering is that another great reason to both be FLR verified?
If I didn't honor my trade or vice versa? Would the one paying for the trade be protected?

It was very surprising that the site had not contacted either me or my partner!!

I think we trader's doing method 2 might actually be scareing newbies a little bit with seemingly harsh terms about refunds, etc.

While obviously we should demand a refund I think from now on I'm going to make it clear to all my referrals that it really isn't a big deal if they go red... they just have to fix it!

But, going red CAN be a big deal. It all depends on the reason for which there are several...like offer fraud and giving false information or making multiple accounts. Those are a big deal.

Just like Lois said. It pretty much depends on the reason for going red. There are holds that would be hard to lifted. Like if you use IP that was already used by somebody else, however innocent you might be, it will be hard to get out of that one. Another is if you do an offer more than twice. I had a referral who was put on hold for doing the same offer more than twice on different sites but they would not even let them put in support ticket it was determined permant right away. So we still have to be precautious and avoid those holds as much as you could. However there are those that are just simple mistakes we made or even not our fault so those are easy to deal with.

I don't mean to scare any of my new referrals by putting those terms about refunds. I do also put in mine that If your account is put on hold for any reason you will have 48 hrs. to either fix it or refund the total amt. paid to you for that site.
Sometimes this will stop a scammer from even trying to scam you. When they see those terms then they know that you will file a report with paypal to get your money back if they try to scam you.

One of my offers was revoked! I immediatly contacted support and they told me no big deal, sometimes sites revoke for no reason at all!
All they said was to do another offer and make it up.

So for anyone wondering what going red is, it's actually not that big a deal. Hopefully if you do go red your trade partner will give you the opportunity to fix it!

I contacted my trade partner immediatly to see what she wanted to do, and she said it was no problem just keep in touch~

I was always worried about going red, what is it, how does it happen etc...
Now I know!

Would you mind sharing what offer you did so I can be careful?

I have excellent credit, so I really have no clue as to why it was revoked.
I was going to contact them, but since the support on the site told me to just move on, and the offer was free, I'm going to do just that!

If you're in method 2 paying people then you wont have many people at all who are FLR verified since many are new.

Most reds are for innocent reasons. which is why I always give any red referrals the opportunity to fix it (and help for them to do so) before requesting a refund.

I don't think we need to use over-harsh wording about reds and refunds, but it it wise to lay out your terms in the trade manager so that there is no mistake.
