Smile Big Bad Red!

I'm not sure if the is the right place to post this?

I just recently went red.
I wasn't informed by the site or my trade partner, I went to check out promos and there it was!

One of my offers was revoked! I immediatly contacted support and they told me no big deal, sometimes sites revoke for no reason at all!
All they said was to do another offer and make it up.

So for anyone wondering what going red is, it's actually not that big a deal. Hopefully if you do go red your trade partner will give you the opportunity to fix it!

I contacted my trade partner immediatly to see what she wanted to do, and she said it was no problem just keep in touch~

I was always worried about going red, what is it, how does it happen etc...
Now I know!

That stinks. They didnt give you any information on why your credit was revoked for the offer you completed?

Yes, sometimes offers do revokes and even mass revokes. In this situation, most sites will let you just do another offer.

But, going red CAN be a big deal. It all depends on the reason for which there are several...like offer fraud and giving false information or making multiple accounts. Those are a big deal.

I'm glad this one wasn't and the site is letting you make it up.

Yea, depending on the circumstances it can be easily fixed... like previously said, a lot of traders do not try to fix this when it happens though.. :(

if it is just a mistake, it can be easily fixed, but if it is a scam than it is a big deal for the trader. a waste of time and sometimes money...hope your RED will go GREEN for you

If you did not commit fraud then most of the time the IFW will let you make it up. The real problem with red is when someones pays you and you go red, then it need to be resolved ASAP. If you go red and you did nothing intentionally wrong your trade partner will let you fix it becuase you should be able to.

I haven't had the pleasure of going red yet but I have also come to understand that it's really not a big deal. Usually you can just fix it by doing another offer like you said...

I think we trader's doing method 2 might actually be scareing newbies a little bit with seemingly harsh terms about refunds, etc.

While obviously we should demand a refund I think from now on I'm going to make it clear to all my referrals that it really isn't a big deal if they go red... they just have to fix it!

Thanks for making realize people might be overly concerned about going red! I never even thought of it really.

While in your case going red turned out to be fixable & not a big deal, this is not always the case. Many reds are easy fixes & are the result of an innocent mistake. But this is not true of all reds....some are serious and can not be fixed....for example, if you have made multiple accounts , this is considered fraud and often can not be fixed....the same is true for offer fraud.....While it is important to give a trader the opportunity to fix their red...& to be supportive & helpful to them....There are occasions when the red is permanent. I am glad that your red can be fixed & your trader was understanding about it.
