I have a ref who used my link to sign up on cleanrup.grf... but he doesn't show up under my referrals. I also checked my other GRF site, cashrewards, to see if i messed up my links, but no, the link is perfect. Is there some kind of delay in the signup showing or something? it's been about an hour now...

No it would be instant. THey signed up unreferred so you'll have to contact GRF and get them moved under you.

Yep, it sounds like your ref signed up unreferred. Just have them submit a support ticket as Chicago suggested.

This happens mostly because someone cleared cookies at the wrong time or they strayed from the sign up process after clicking your link (perhaps to read the TOS of the site). It's not uncommon.
As Chicago and Silvervixen said, a support ticket by them asking to be moved under your referral ID # will do the trick. :)

Hopefully they have not signed up prior, I had a ref recently who tried to sign up using my link only to find out he had signed up using someone's link over 8 months ago (he only recently decided to come back to freebie trading to give it another try).

That happened to me with one of my referrals, it was a mess, for some reason she kept signing up on my sites but not with the link i sent her, she would hack off the ref number lol. I asked her why she would do such a thing turns out she thought thats how you were supposed to handle referral links.. haha i feel bad for any other affiliate marketing site shes been sent to lol! But we got it all cleared up now.. just goes to show i shouldnt "assume" people know things...because you know what they say about assuming!
I hope you get your referral straightened up :) |
