One day my computer crashed and I lost all of that information, I was sick over that. I believe it's a good idea to keep track with good ole pen and paper. The notebook is a super idea.
I keep track of my refs on index cards so I have all their info handy at a glance. User name, name, dates, sites, payouts etc. I also track correspondence and note personal info on the back.

Re: Keeping track of your referrals

Tis true...whatever works best for YOU, the end user, is what is best:) Whether it's refs or offers or sites or whathaveyou, it's gotta be a system that you can use and work effectively and efficiently:) Many folks can't deal with tons of data...they suffer overload and that's understandable:) Then there are those of us who use software from Notepad to MS to Excel and yes, even Access ( I LOVE data:)). However, the tough part of doing more than just some old fashioned pen and paper is...we don't always remember to update things and that can get hairy...so just piddle around with it, define your level of logic and keep it real:) May there be hundreds to track:)

I don't know how you can manage to fit all of that info on an index card, Lesley! I use an 8x11 sheet of paper for each referral in order to keep tract of all of their pertinent info & all of the info that I send to them.

Re: Keeping track of your referrals

I am new, but I plan on keeping it on paper and on spreadsheet, just to make sure :)
