Yes it is better. Should your ref go red after you have paid them and you need to get your money back, you have some recourse if they are paypal verified. This doesn't guarantee paypal will issue a full refund, but your odds are better.

Yes, you should require it. It only takes a few days for them to get it done.

Your referrals should be verified. It's just another way that your referral has been verified, on paypal. Some networks actually require referrals to be paypal verified in order for you to cash out on them.

It's your call. You can require it if you want, but it WILL cost you money. People want to make money now, not 3-5 days from now. I've never cared if my referrals were verified or not, and I never will. I kinda sort of understand the reasoning behind requiring it, but I think that it's a mistake to do so.

One of my favorite networks requires my referrals to be verified before paying me. Much as I like them, they'll never be any higher in my trade rotation than 3rd. By the time my refs get there, they'll be verified. The referrals are my customers, I'm the IFW's customer. I'd much prefer to inconvenience the IFW instead of my customer.

And we're back to that bottom line...you see, if your referrals are paypal verified upfront, it's one less thing they have to do or concern themselves with when THEY become traders:) Ensure each step you take them through is building a strong base for them to do just that...jump the fence:)

You may also suggest they go ahead and get themselves a scanned color copy of their id on their computers or at least a disk, too, while you're at it - something else they're going to need when they start cashing out yet in the interim, I've noticed quite a few of the sites have been having random "spot checks", requiring only this id copy to remove holds...which just takes a second to submit - IF you've already got it on hand vs sometimes days of waiting if they didn't get one upfront:)

The more you share, the more you will learn...do so wisely and well and you will find many answers to questions you didn't even know you had:) Keep smiling...it really IS all good!
