I got a message telling my my ref had completed, i cashed her out, it was completed, but got a message saying a got a promo credit---- which i took to mean a partial cashout? because i had another ref stuck at 45% for a while--- but my payment was only $60/for the 1 ref who completed??

A promotional credit is what they call the "credit" they give you to make you green again after your cashout. Your original green is "used up" when you cash out. Since *********** (and most other sites) are now "forever green", they need to inform their script that you're green again (and can send them more referrals).

What they've done is created a new "offer" in their system, called "Promotional Credit". (You won't find it on the offers page, but it IS in their system.) As far as their script is concerned, it's just like any other offer, with a credit weighting of 1 credit. Whenever you cashout an order, (using your existing green in the process), they manually give you credit for having done the "Promotional Credit" offer, which makes you green again for your next referral. All sites will follow a similar process, although what they name this bogus "offer" will vary from site to site.

If you think back to when you were originally doing offers, the sites notified you as your credits rolled in. The message you received this time is exactly the same thing. Your completion of the "Promotional Credit" offer just rolled in, and you're green again!

I looked at their promo this month and they aren't doing partial cash outs.

My guess is that you are seeing your regreen. In order for sites to be forever green once you cash out then they have to give you another green. Log in to your account and look at your status bar and I bet you will see your offer faded out like a referral that is used is and another "offer" there that says promotional credit. The reason you got a message about it is because sites usually send out update emails for every administrative change to your account.

Let us know if this was it or if something else is going on.
