There are some excellent replies and advise already entered here by some very kool and savy vets. I would add GREEN4GREEN to your SIGNATURE but I warn you to be EXTREMELY selective and insistant upon certain favorable criteria in trading G4G. In so doing, you will be expected to green first, you will NOT put the trade in the trade manager (so insist that time limits, and payout should the other trader not perform, and anything else of importance TO YOU be included in the Trade Manager). It will help to get your iTR up, and you can do a variety of sites for others and GAIN EXPERIENCE with those sites, WHILE CASHING OUT full ref value on your own sites. G4G is win-win and ideal for your situation.

If you don't, you should contact any mentor around here and ask them if they might could help you devise a plan.

Technically, you can start Method 2 whenever you feel you are ready. The number 1 criteria I would suggest is that you can help a new member green and guide them with all the info they need...because you will need to do that if you are paying for referrals. The competition in Method 2 is heavy because of so many doing it. Because of that, I also recommend you have at least a double digit TR. This just "looks" better to new traders but it also qualifies you to become a PPD mentor (if you came thru PPD).

Hope that helps some :)
i agree with lois here

One thing I noticed, the sites you have greened, there are no super easy ones. In my experience it is good to have some 0.5 credit, super easy, fast greening sites for the skeptical newbies. If you can get 3 of those, you will be at 10 trades and you can start your thread in paying for referrals. If you are from PPD, you can sign up to be a PPD mentor at 10 trades as well and PPD will actually send you new people to work with. You can get this done in one day if you have 3-4 hours to work on it. You are so close, your avatar and signature look great, so full speed ahead!

:) Mary

The advise is great! Just what I needed to hear. My main fear is to be able to help and answer others peoples questions when I start Method 2. But I think I am going to go for it, because since I have started trading there is ALWAYS someone out here ready to lend a helping hand. So I know that if I run into a question that I can't answer, someone will help me :)

I just wanted to add that moving on to method two is NOT an overnight process! You have to be very patient!! Try your hardest not to get discouraged and keep an upbeat attitude at all times and you will be very successful at this business!

In my oh so humble opinion, the right time is when you feel like taking the plunge! I personally think its easier doing method 2, not nearly as much to keep track of lol! I, myself, starting looking for referrals the same day i did my first trade, im not a patient person haha! I think both methods really do go hand in hand, the only reason I would say to wait would be if you feel as though you wouldnt be able to help or teach your referral---although, with all the info here in FLR as well as online in general, you can make yourself quite a nice little cheat sheet reference guide.
So..go for it! Its fun, and let me tell you--its rewarding not just money wise. I had one of my referrals PM me to thank me for finding her when i did, because the money she earned greening for me paid for things her baby needed...i mean====what in the world is better than that! Sure we are all here to make money, but its things like that that keep people (or me anyway) around.

Good luck!!

Jenn
