And under who's leadership do you think that 40% "reached the "governmental dependency" phase"? These people are angry for a reason, and they expressed it at the polls, finally, because for once they were motivated enough by someone to believe that they could make a difference, and they did.

I'm not saying Obama is a savior by any means, all I'm saying is "let he who is without sin cast the first stone". Republicans are always so quick to forget what has happened to the nation over the last decade, things that are a direct result of flawed republican leadership and corruption in government. It might not change (probably won't) under Obama either, but at least it's something relatively new & different to look at for awhile.

He fooled many so don't feel bad. I have been a registered Republican for many years. I loved Reagan and absolutely despised Clinton. Bush disappointed. But Obama scares the heck out of me. I think at this point all of us who really care about our country needs to look at the person and not the party when we vote for our leaders. Obama had a voting record that reflects the things he is currently doing so there really are no surprises here. In the future we the people need to pay more attention to what our politicians are doing so we avoid ever having another President who puts himself and his agenda ahead of the needs of the American people.

I should have attended his church when I was growing up then maybe I would have turned out to be more compationate for a group of people that don't even blink an eye at decapitating one of there prisioners. Who in there right mind cannot understand that it is far more moral to allow post birth abortion since the people who decided they really didn't want the baby used no preventive measures before they took part in sex that they certainly deserved . I mean Holy smokes they only sucked the babies brains out and then literally tossed them in the trash bin. I am sure they used a plastic bag for the body ( that is if they had one available ) if not, what the heck.

We must revamp our way of thinking
(1) Immediatley after 9-11 , most people would certainly have had the same attitude concerning these horrindous acts of undiscribable torture being inflicted on well meaning good natured people who only wanted to play airplane pilot for a few minutes . It surely wasn't there fault that so many innocent people decided to buy tickets on there flight. (Good grief , these guys had an opportunity to spend eternity with virgins - CAN YOU BLAME THEM???. I just didn't understand that GOD was a pimp.

And get with the program. Everyone knows that if your household budget gets out of hand, you can easily correct the problem by acquireing a few more credit cards (with 23% interest rate) and pay down your debts , while doing this it would probabley be a good idea to allow a few of your relatives to take a vacation they have dreamed of or remodle there house if they will loan you some money and you will add these expenses to your balance due.(thats what pork is, isn't it?) Republicans and Democrats have the right to do this. My goodness how in the world do you expect them to get re-ellected next term?

I think you mean partial-birth abortion. That's when they deliver all but the head, then pierce the back of their skull and suck out their brains so they die and they can continue the delivery without as much trauma to the mother. Oh I mean woman because in no way are they a mother in the sense of the word. I can only hope that the doctors who do this are haunted in their dreams by those young souls.

In a way I am thankful that Obama was elected. I think his administration has jolted awake the complacent and made them see that we have so much to lose here. Maybe now more attention will be paid to Washington. People will get out and vote for people who REALLY care about our country and the citizens.
