a Mom of 3 who was laid off last July just won 6.5 million!! Talk about a good day!
She said the first thing she is doing is going to Disneyland!! Then put money away for her 3 kids college education. I am happy for her!! She was crying and seems so grateful and appreciative. Her and her family has been living with her mom, I hope she will buy her mom a new house too :O)
Although she won 6.5 million, she opted for the cash paid in full option which is 2.7 million, she will get 1.9 after taxes. She is a college student and her husband works at a restuarant, they are both about 35. What a nice, nice, nice day for them! She said it is like not eating for 2 years and then being given a buffet! Just makes me so happy for them!

Very, Very Nice not sure I would have opted for that payout-monthly installments with a higher amount of end payout would have worked nicely too.

I guess everything does happen for a reason, She shold have opted for the distribution over 20 years shes def young enough.
