Steve McNair found dead saturday
Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Steve McNair was found dead in his Tennessee home on Saturday of multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest. he was 36 years old. His 20 yes 20 year old girlfriend was also found dead at the home. The coroners finally stated Tuesday that Steve was a victim of a murder suicide. The motive for his murder is still unknown.
Steve Mcnair was drafted third overall by the Huston Oilers in 1995 and took over the starting job two years later when the oilers relocated to tennesee and became the titans. Steve was the starting QB for the Titans when they met with the Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV. A game that eventually was lost on the final play when Steve threw the ball to his WR Dyson and was tackled 1 yard shy of scoring the winning touchdown in the final seconds. Steve was later traded to The Baltimore Ravens where he retired in 2007. Steve McNair will always be remembered as the true professional and leader on and off the field. |
