So I am delegated to rest. (SSSHHHHHH....Don't tell anyone but I have stopped doing that.) Needless to say, I am sitting here watching something about a Fig Wasp. Such a terrible ending. I should really stop watching nature shows. They can be quite disturbing...

But I AM BORED OUT OF MY MIND!!! So I have taken it upon myself to start something, anything. And I thought to myself: "Self, what better place to start something than my old stomping grounds at FLR." And low and behold, here I am!!!

This may seem senseless to anyone else who doesn't know me. But it is right in character for me, I think. I guess you would have to ask others who know me better than I know myself. (teehee)

Honestly, I can't really tell you the purpose of this thread other than it simply being another needless thread amongst the vast multitude of needless threads that I have contributed to in the past. So maybe I should think of some topic......hhhhhmmmmm......

Oh Yeah!!! What do you all do when you are bored? Anything, Nothing? And make it good and juicey.

I'll start. I am bored out of my mind and I just watched an episode on Fig Wasps!! Yep. That's right. I watched an entire hour on nothing but Fig Wasps!!! And you know what happened to the Queen Fig Wasp? I mean after she literally busted her gut squeezing into a fig? Her off spring ATE HER!!! Now that is rather disturbing considering my condition. LOL

And what am I laughing about? It is so NOT funny!!

And I now feel that I should apologize. My husband is finishing his painting project and I believe the fumes may be having an adverse effect on me. I should have gone upstairs to escape them. At least I hope the fumes didn't make it upstairs......

oooooooooooooooo....I almost forgot!! I also decided that I should stop watching the news on television. And in my epiphony (sorry if spelled incorrectly), I decided that reading the news in the papers would be less disheartening. BUT NOOOO.....I read today that a mom in NC was charged with child abuse after her 4 month old child's toes were EATEN OFF BY A PIT BULL SHE WAS DOG SITTING!! And the woman was asleep in the same room it happened in!!!

So now I can no longer watch or READ the news. I am cut off from the world. So please. If anything happy happens out in the world, let me know.

Get a pile of movies and smut novels and make sure your family and friends visit. I don't know why you are having to rest, but I was on 8 weeks of bedrest with my first pregnancy and that is what I did. I even babysat for kids. We just sat in the bed and played. The outcome was a beautiful healthy full term baby girl (who is now 18). Good luck.

I feel the same way all of the time. I have always worked very hard and now that I have no painting work to do, I am a full time trader. Thank God for trading. I would loose my mind!!! Both of my boys are in school now, and then I become a stay at home mom....Go figure! Some days I wouldn't even want to get out of bed if it weren't for having to bump my thread..lol. Nice to know I am not the only one loosing it around here.
