Im from Jacksonville, I recently moved here form up state. I mainly live on the westside though and not in the city.
I really like the area and being so close to everything ,but I wish I could live in riverside, because it's such a historic area and living on the water. Being on the water would really be cool I think. Does anyone live on the water?

I used to live in Jax, on the southside. I couldn't afford to buy a house so I moved about 2 hours south, where Houses are cheap. If you are looking for somewhere to take kids, the Jacksonville Zoo is great. My son loves the train that goes through it.

I just discovered that myself. We are getting ready to move to Satsuma. It is so beautiful down there. We love the zoo in Jax. They have recently done a lot to it. It is great.

Never been to Satsuma but I own a cabin on the other side of the St John's/Lake George, in the Ocala National Forest.
