Almost daily I get 2-3 emails from a site that has been banned from FLR. Telling me everything that is currently going on in their fight with Admin. I read horrible things that Admin has supposed to say to these site owners. I read things that they are saying about him, that I am sure cant be true. These things are repeated over and over and over again. I think this has gone to far. I tried to go to one of the new sites, and was sent to a page that did nothing but tell how bad FLR's traffic was, and how Leo ripped everyone off, and that the traffic that we are hearing is coming is all a lie and that it will never come back to FLR. Is anyone else getting this stuff? I mean I am a member of several forums, lol I am on them about as much I am here, which is very rare these days. But good grief I am tired of being bombarded with all this negative stuff about FLR and Leo. Is there anyway to make it stop that anyone knows of?

hey kel.... i have goten a few of those emails from different networks... the bottom line is they have ben removed from FLR and well they are reacting the only way the can, which is by telling their members where they will be... Now i dont know the behind the scene stuff but there are alot of new networks that i do know are great networks, but ultimately it comes down to the individual traders.. you have to decide what you want to believe and where you want to place your trust.. personally i cant see Admin nor Glad putting all this time and energy into changing up FLR to what it is now to stop here... so I say be patient and do your thing gal!!!

Haha. A couple of things that might help, but probably not...

-Ask them nicely to stop because you're not a part of their battle. (this might actually work, believe it or not!)

If that doesn't work, and you are really upset..

-Report them for online harassment using one of many various methods you probably can find with a quick web search.

-Start taking their IP addresses from the full headers of their emails, find out who the provider is, and report them to their internet providers for harassment.

Yes, I have gotten them too. I admit, not as often as you, however. I just delete them and move on with my day. I am very happy here and no spam or hearsay is going to change that for me. They will eventually give up on you I would think. Maybe reply to an email and ask them to stop.

I still don't understand why site owners get upset with our policies. Why is it that site owners think they have the right to be on a private forum for free? They don't pay any traditional advertising / marketing expenses. They just buy a script, throw on offers, and just sit on forums. All they have to do is be nice to get a few people to start making money for them. I think some site owners didn't really understand how lucky they were to be getting free traffic while it lasted. Now that I'm booting them off for site owners that are willing to pay for the traffic, they're throwing a fit. Nothing I can really do about that.

The bottom line is, freebies sites are in a secondary market. They rely on a larger market for their business model to work; traffic. You see I'm not worried about angry and disillusioned site owners sending BS mass emails because they offer nothing of importance to the actual member. In the end, the forum that has constant new members will win out. FLR has always lead the way in this industry in every category possible and will continue to do so.

As for the crazy talk, I don't take it personally. I think it's lovely that so many people think about me every day and I don't even know who these people are. I mean it's gotten so crazy to the point where someone made a video for themselves and then claimed I made it so they could talk about that. LOL.

A few weeks back it was the anniversary of the moon landing and CNN did a piece about how close to 8% of the general population don't believe that we went to the moon. Buzz Aldrin, one of the men who landed on the moon had a great response to what he thought about these conspiracy theories and crazy accusations:

"I don't want to call attention to the individuals who are trying to promote and shuffle off this hoax on people," Aldrin told CNN in a recent interview. "I feel sorry for the gullible people who're going to go along with them. I guess it's just natural human reaction to want to be a part of 'knowing something that somebody doesn't know.' But it's misguided. It's just a shame."

That's exactly how I feel.

Kel i get these same emails and when i look and see its crapola i just delete them and dont read any further.Most these site owners are always saying go to this and that forum but fail to realize any real trader is already a member of them all.I dont care where i get trades its all the same to me but FLR is alot of traders home and always will be most of us started here and love the opportunity it has given us.I actually do more trades outside of forums than on forums mainly cause of some of the garbage threads put up by some members i feel these people i get from outside advertising dont need to read this because if done properly you wont really have any of the mishaps some have.

This is the net....b.s. will ALWAYS be a part of it and how we determine to handle that which "flows" our way is important - hit a report button without opening anything from somewhere you are not comfy with, etc, etc. No different than any other spam. Simple.

I am blessed....I've not been bothered by a plethora of garbage after the first few, but that may have something to do with a "response" I sent to one email a long time ago...lol...a bit blunt, perhaps, but it seems to have been effective plus I am one of those who is not an active member anywhere, except for my beloved lil flr and it's been worth the effort to stay by her side:)

Now, one thing everyone needs to keep in mind...if one is "active" on other forums and seen by others as being "active", one is gonna get junk, period. Again, how one elects to deal with that, handle it, well...personal choice yet in my humble opinion, there is no rational reason to bring it into this forum:) PM admin or glad if it really concerns you...your friends, seeing if it's also happening to them...that kinda stuff makes sense:) No one is saying to not work other forums, just to expect "stuff" to be shared...lol...forever and ever, at this rate...

Believe me, I am not trying to minimize any concerns folks have over this perpetual and obviously never ending he said/she said - I can honestly say it truly burns my bootie if it's still going around yet the bestest way....merely in my humble opinion...to stop gossip and hearsay is to NOT share it/not spread it around...it's all good...if'n we let it be:)

I have received them too. But not as many as you.
The way I look at it, there are two sides to every story. The emails are not spam if we are registered members of their site just as we are to FLR. But if you are not a member of the site, thus never promoted those sites, asked for free greens, etc then it is spam. But even if you are a member and just don't want to receive the updates, just ask them to stop. The way I see it, just because a site got banned from here, doesn't make everything they say now be trash. They were not trash when they were here and we made a few bucks with them. Just don't hate mommy because her and daddy split up LOL. That's not fair to YOUR business as a trader. I have read the stuff and what I believe to be true is my belief and the same goes for the rest of you. I just try not to mix what I believe and what I am willing to deal with to make money. I get in where I fit in. So if my favorites are on other forums, then I'm there with them. And whatever sites I love and am able to promote on FLR are the ones I am sticking with here. That's the beauty of being able to have multiple browsers open at one time. lol I am still running my business the way I want too promoting the sites I chose to so everything is copestatic with me at all times.

well the first part of this that i put in red I have to say is just funny to me as i totally agree with what Admin is saying.. It is really funny that these peopel that are so mad at him and FLR taht they spend so much time thinking of ways to try to hurt him and this forum.. that to me is a inpowering thing.. personally when i am mad at somewho or womething i spit out all my anger at the time and then move on. whywaste more energy on something that really isnt all that important... but to the networks that are sending out these emails and making the blogs, they are mad because they know they are lossing money. plain and simple they should be spending theat time and energy on thei8r business and getting it where they want it to be... and the last part in red .. well that is just a very good quote and well put... anyway.. in the end you have to do what is right for y ou and your business..

Great response admin, I have to agree though, they are just angry they are no longer getting free traffic. I guess its natural they talk trash. Well whatever their loss.
