I happen to like the position I don't have to think to much about what I'm doing lol - Perfect to keep up and running while im doing other stuff on the PC as well.

They are hiring again as of when I type this.

I've done well with them in my spare time. Here is some info from the old thread :

~ For every guide you refer, you get 1 or 2 cents for each message they answer.

~ The best thing you can do to help pass the tests is to thoroughly read all the information they give you. Print
it out if you want and make sure you are ready before you take the tests.

~ Work at any time, for as little or as long, as you want. If you don't login for a month they may deactivate you.

~ Payment is by direct deposit or debit card. You must have earned at least $100 for the monthly direct deposit to
your own bank account. The debit card option is through the bank they use. There is no minimum to cash out on the debit card, but there is a $2 fee.

~ You are required to have high speed internet connection and to use Firefox as your browser. Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable

~ If you are a guide, you will want to use the Clippings addon. This allows you to input frequently-entered text
with a few mouse clicks. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1347

~ Guides also want to make full use of their bookmarks toolbar. This is the horizontal bar below the address bar.
Keep frequently used sites (dictionary.com, whitepages.com, imdb.com etc.) there for easy access.

ChaCha is great! I've been working for them for a few months now. What I love about them is that you don't have to invest money to make money, so there's no risk involved. They are also probably one of the most legit work-at-home businesses out there. There was recently a pay cut so it's nearly impossible to make minimum wage in an hour, which can be frustrating, but considering you are doing fairly simple work from your own home, it really isn't that bad. I'm so grateful that I found ChaCha! Actually, the way I actually found out about ChaCha is by using their service (which is 100% free!) texting in questions. I was curious about who was on the other end giving me my answer so I looked it up and they happened to be hiring. They've helped out so much with bills. Definitely recommend them!

Interesting....I've a couple folks that have passed through connected to this and they all said pretty much what you did, so that's good to know!!

And a most excellent point...if you are home all day long, you can't get much easier work than that - sounds excellent for sahms who are looking for a little help in their budgets:)
