This is such an interesting program...I've known dozens of folks who have tried it, been gung-ho for a while..then it seemed to no longer be...effective...any thoughts why? Thanks.

ps. I still think it sounds like an excellent method for sahms, don't get me wrong...but as winter approaches and it's evident my body parts ain't gonna take another winter delivering pizzas, whelp...it's time for me, as sole supporter, to get serious about some other avenues of revenue, thus...am looking for the devil in those details:)

I did chacha for awhile.. it won't get you rich.. but you can make some petty cash. I actually found it quite boring... and they only pay you like 10 or 20 cents a question.. provided you give a good answer. I mean for anyone willing to sit allll day long and answer text messages (which some can be hillarious) you can make like $5/$6 an hour.. depending on how busy it is.

Well, first, let me say they closed hiring for now. That was a quick one-dayer. lol

I love it. It can get tedious at times, but that's when I just shut down and take a break. I'm always learning something. I'm not the fastest and I probably take too long to make sure my answers are right, so I really only make about $3/hr tops lol.

The expediter position seems to be the way to go now...I am a generalist/specialist. Most answers are getting "quick answers" by the expediters now. They only make 3 cents a Q, but they can do them a lot faster so it really evens out. And, they get everything that comes thru, so when people like me aren't busy, they almost always are so they can make more money even at 3 cents. I know many that make $20+ a day doing it (but yes, they do it for 8 hours or more).

It's surely not for everyone. I just find it fascinating ...the questions that get asked (by mostly kids). And, everyone seems to say it's the busiest during the school year, so it should be picking up even more soon.

As for a slow down lately? Most times I'm on (afternoon and evenings), I'm very steady and sometimes back to back so I think it depends on what job you get and what categories you sign up for if you are a generalist/specialist. Expediters are almost always back to back.
