Clearly there hasn't been enough information given in this thread yet to allow anyone to make an informed decision, so I'd like to shed some light on this for you. I'm sorry it has taken me a while to get this information out here. This is going to be lengthy, but do read all the way through. Because toward the end you are going to find something that is what initially sparked my interest in this company. It's a way for you to not only help yourself acheive financial freedom, but how you will be helping the underpriveledged children of the world at the same time without even realizing it. I save the life of a child every single month now, and you will too when you join....and it won't affect your income whatsoever. It's a great feeling!

Let me first just say that I've been a stay-at-home mother for about 10 years. During that time, I worked a couple of different MLM's, and wasn't extremely successful at it. I did OK, but it wasn't buying me my dream home....we'll leave it at that. It wasn't for lack of effort, that's for sure. I give my heart and soul to everything I do, and I stuck it out with one particular company - Herbalife - for 2 years. I couldn't move up in that company because I didn't have the money to advertise, I didn't want to sell products, and I didn't know very many people because I had just moved to a different city. I worked my butt off, and got a few people in here and there, but guess what? They all quit.... Why? Because they had the same problem I had. No money for ads. No desire to sell. So my business went absolutely no where....and FAST. I loved the products though, so I stuck with it just so I could continue to get them at a discount. But I lost thousands of dollars in the process, and no one was there to help me out.

My husband lost his job in February of this year, and my only income was from freebie trading. We have 5 children between the two of us, 5 pets, and a nice home......so you can pretty well guess that it probably wasn't the most opportune time for me to start a new business, right? If I didn't have the experience that I do, I would never have given this a second glance. I would've walked away from it, without a doubt. But because I understand how these things work, I was able to see that this was something I NEEDED to do for my family, or we'd end up losing our home to foreclosure in short order. Anyone else in that position? I'm sure there are many, and you don't have to admit it like I have....but just keep up with me here, because this could be something that may change your life.

Before I go any further, did you know that in just June of this year, 467,000 people lost their jobs? The unemployment rate is the highest it's been since 1933 when it was at 13%. It's now at a staggering 14.X %. People are looking for a way out....for a "Plan B", so there is NO TIME like RIGHT NOW to get started with a business like this one because growth is certain.

I've been with XanGo for a little while now, and I had originally posted the information about this business before the changes took effect in this subforum. Things have changed for me since then, and I'll explain that in just a bit.

When most people hear the term "MLM", or "Multi-Level Marketing", they will scowl and say "Um, no." Maybe they're like me, and have been a part of an MLM in the past and they were not successful. But did they actually work their business? Because if they did, in time they would have been successful, right? Not necessarily - depending on the marketing plan and the limits within the company they worked with.
Maybe they've heard that it is impossible for anyone, except for those at the top, to make any money. And they'd be right - if they're referring to most companies that are binaries. Compensation in binary marketing plans make the rich, richer, while the poor do all the work....kind of reminds you of the "real world" that we are all accustomed to, doesn't it? Might as well stay at your regular job....

The word "binary" means "two", right? Several companies will say "We are a BINARY! Get in now!!" Uh-oh....big red flag right there. Do not proceed. They think that by telling you "We are special because you ONLY NEED 2 PEOPLE to make money!", that you will join because it sounds "easy". But what they are really telling you without coming right out with it, is that you can only HAVE 2 people. Very, VERY limited potential right out of the gate. The monthly investment has to be taken into consideration as well. If it's $20-$40 or somewhere in there, and your commission is 5%, that's not much money for the work involved. Again, the cost is a big factor for people...so right off the bat, potential reps are excited because 1) The only need to find 2 people!, and 2) They only have pay $20 a month! Ugh....Think about it. You have to sell their products. And you'd have to sell a LOT of them in order to make even $100 if they are only worth $20, even if the commission is 50%. And I'll tell you right now that you aren't going to get a 50% commission anywhere without spending thousands of dollars to buy your way into that level. (That's one way you can end up with closets full of products for years to come if this is what you are looking for....) If you find a company that says you will make millions, but you only have to spend $20 a month....your millions are far, FAR away, and the work load is going to be enormous. And there are also typically limits on how much you can earn with most companies. (They won't tell you this up front either) A red flag in this industry - one of them - is if you hear or see the words "You can make UP TO....". This means that sure, it is POSSIBLE to make that amount, but no one actually does with their company. They make it very difficult, if not impossible, to get there.

Binaries build their comp plans around the fact that they count on their reps NOT being able to reach that level. This way when the company says they pay out 40% (or whatever their rate is) back to their reps, they actually don't because the reps never reach the level where they'd actually get it. Therefore the company pockets the money that their distributors COULD have made, making the people at the top richer every single day while you bust your buns for a $5 commission check. That's how they keep their company afloat. They wouldn't make it otherwise. Yuck. Xango does not do this. No matter what, 50% of all products purchased go back to the reps - no matter what!!! There is no pocketing of any sort with Xango. No money rolls back up to the board. It's a 50/50 shared profit between all members - both the people at the top, and the people who just got in. You don't find this with other companies without having to pay heftily to get it by default. (Thousands in many cases) And that is not just a one-time thing. It's every year, or every 6 months, depending on the terms of the company you are referring to. How many products can you really use or even sell? That's not for me. Is it for you?

If you're a great salesperson, AND you have a primary source of income that is feeding your family already, then go for it with a binary. By all means! Have fun with it and be casual about it because you're just doing it on the side. But don't expect to make large amounts of money unless you are willing to spend all your free time selling or buying your way into the higher commission levels. But remember, it isn't going to be easy. Not everyone you come in contact with is going to say "YES". Usually it's about 1 out of 10. Meaning, for every 10 people you speak to, one will say yes. So how many people will you have to talk to before you make your first $5? Or your first $100? Keep that in mind.

There are other things to watch out for as well - one being a power line structure, which is what I was originally promoting. I'll get more into that in a bit.

The company name is XanGo. (Pronounced Zang Go) We are NOT in the sales business. Let me repeat that....

The products that we have are for our own personal use. And it doesn't cost you thousands, or even hundreds of dollars, to get in and get your products. To join, it costs $35. It's been $35 since the day they opened, and is still just $35.
Some people love to sell. It's another avenue if the three commissions in Xango isn't enough for you. (You'll see those below) But it's not the main objective here. The main objective is to get people using their own products and making money from doing so. I haven't sold a product yet. I never will.

As you may know, there are different "levels", or "titles", in any MLM. In XanGo, the different levels, and volume requirements of each level, are this:

Representative - 100 volume in a month
Preferred Rep - 100 volume in a month on auto delivery - ability to earn "power start" bonuses
1K - $1000 in volume in a month + 3 personally sponsored members
5K - $5000 in volume in a month + 3 1K's below you
20K - $20,000 in volume in a month + 3 5K's below you
100K - $100,000 in volume in a month + 2 20K's and 1 5K below you
200K - $200,000 in volume in a month + same as above
500K - $500,000 in volume in a month + same as above
& X1 - not sure of the requirements on this one, to be honest.....lol

Just like any other MLM, you earn commissions based on the volume of your organization. (Your organization = you and the people below you)

When I first joined, I joined under someone who was utilizing a power line structure, so I was taught that I didn't have to recruit anyone....that my upline will place people for me to personally sponsor. And they will....eventually. But it can take some time, and if you are a serious person in need of money, you are not going to want to sit back and wait for that to happen. See, with a powerline structure, each person is placed directly below the last one who joined, making it essentially one person on each level. So even if you don't recruit anyone, someone somewhere will add someone to your downline. Are you with me? So, if a rep 10 levels above me recruits someone, that person would go below me, under the last person who joined, putting that person in MY downline as well. That may sound pretty exciting, right? But let me explain why it's not a good plan....there are 2 reasons off the top of my head....

First of all, you need to have three personally sponsored people with Xango. If you are told when you join that you don't have to recruit anyone, that means someone else above you would have to find those three people for you if they cared enough to help you out. Let's say it's me that is finding your 3 people for you. Once I've done that, you STILL aren't going to recruit anyone because now things are happening while you watch, right? So why take part now? But then those 3 people need 3 as well. So that's 9 more people I'd have to find. Those 9 people aren't going to do anything either because they were told they didn't have to, but they each need 3, which makes 27 more people I have to find....and so on and so forth. It just isn't possible for the people above you to continuously place people for every single person below them. As you can imagine, some people could be waiting an awfully long time in order to get even one person, right? Imagine those numbers continually increasing over time...eventually, and very quickly, there would be thousands of people that need "people", and it keeps getting multiplied by 3. So now, not only will you quit, because you may be the thousandth person in line waiting, but the person recruiting will quit too because they are busting their butt for everyone else. Not a good situation. Eventually it will stop, and your volume will dwindle down to nothing with all the people who get frustrated and drop.

The second reason it isn't a good plan, is because depending on the level you are at - 1K, 5K, 20K, etc., you earn from a different number of levels, right? (Up to a maximum of 9 levels for the unilvel commission) If you are a 1K, you earn from 4 levels - which means you earn from the 4 people directly below you, and no further down the line until you reach the next level of 5K. So essentially it doesn't matter if you have 5,000 people in your downline, because you are only earning from 4 of them, right? And even if you were qualified to earn all 9 levels, that would be only 9 people that you are earning from out of 5,000 because there is only one person in each level. What's the point of recruiting then?? Yes, you'd get the volume from all 5,000 people in your downline, but that doesn't matter as far as your commission goes, because there is still only one person on each level that you are earning from. Had you placed all 5,000 people up close, within your first 9 levels, your income would have been enormous. This is what we're doing now. Instead of just one person on level one, let's put 3-5 people there. And then there would be 9-25 people on your level 2, 27-125 people on your level 3, and so on and so forth. You see where this is going? If you'd like to see how the commission breaks down based on this method, let me know and I can email you a spreadsheet with that information.

To sum this up, let me give you my experience with the powerline, and why I chose not to continue using it. There are 3 different commissions that are paid out:

-Power Starts (paid weekly)
-Unilevel (paid monthly)
-Dynamic Compression (paid monthly with the unilevel)

When I joined the powerline, I didn't sit and wait for someone else to place people in my downline for me. I just don't operate that way. I wanted RESULTS....NOW. And I wanted to help others get results...NOW. So I started recruiting people, and pretty soon I had almost 40 people in my downline, all in about 5 weeks time. It averaged about one person per day. Pretty impressive! I earned power start bonuses from every person that I recruited, so I was making checks from that right away in the first week. But, because of the way the powerline works, when you place people for others, it blocks you from receiving dynamic compression. (Don't ask...it's complicated, and when you join you'll learn about it at that time. Just take my word for now and I'll explain later) So....ZAP! One commission out the window right from the get-go. So now I'm down to 2 commissions that I can earn, right? The power starts and the unilevel. Ok, not such a big deal....? Wait....it WAS a big deal!

See, you earn a percentage from each level. When you are a 1K, you earn 5% from level 1, 5% from level 2, 10% from level 3, and 5% from level 4. Well, with the powerline I only had one person on each level. Each person had 100 in volume. So if I earned 5%, 5%, 10%, and 5%, my unilevel commission check was only going to be $25. ($5 from level 1, $5 from level 2, $10 from level 3, and $5 from level 4) But I was expecting much, MUCH more because I had so many people in the business. But that didn't matter, because most of the people I put in were not in my first 4 levels. They were too far down the line, in levels of which I wasn't qualified to earn from, and never would be. When I received that first unilevel commission check for $25, I was in shock. I took quite a bit of time off to meet with other successful business people, to discuss this method. I decided that I wasn't going to add another person to my downline without fully comprehending dynamic compression and the unilevel pay plans. What I found out is that I was losing a LOT of money instead of making a lot. I lost over a hundred dollars in commissions in month 1 because of the structure I had in place - putting people in a powerline, one after the other. If I had placed them all up close - within my first 4 levels, can you imagine what my income would have been?

Here is a snapshot of my office. You will see that the powerline structure did a real number on my commissions. Thankfully I'm now out of that structure, because I choose to be. I didn't have to pay to get out of it, I just simply place people differently than I did before, and my commissions are going to reflect that. But you can see that money is coming in every single month....and you can also see that there are NO dynamic compression commissions in there because of the structure I've used up to this point, just like I mentioned above:



THAT is called an education. And I am actually grateful for it! I got a great education, and I now have the knowledge and ability to create what I set out to do from day one....which was to manifest wealth for myself and help the other people I come in contact with to do the same. See, it really doesn't matter how much someone hypes up a company or a product. If you don't fully understand the comp plan, and you don't have an honest person telling you how it works, or at the very least, finding OUT how it works, how can you do what you need to do to make it work for yourself? And with a powerline structure, no one wants to discuss the comp plan. Interesting....isn't it? For some it's because they just want to get you in so they can earn the power start bonus. And for others, it's because they truly don't understand it themselves. I feel for those people, because I've met many of them who have been doing it this way for years, and they don't understand why they are broke, yet they are determined to continue on the same path. Some people are determined to resist change.

It's important for you to understand that no matter what you choose to do, Xango or anything else, you are not going to be rich overnight. Not unless you win the lottery, or a rich uncle dies and remembered you in his will. There is ALWAYS a gestation period.
It starts with a thought, then you get a feeling (you're excited to make money), then you take ACTION. Think. Feel. Act. Three steps. Just like planting a garden.

Thought - You have the idea in your mind of what you want in your garden.
Feeling - You get excited or are happy to prepare for planting.
Act - You plant it.

Then the gestation period begins. You may not know the exact date that your corn is going to break through the ground, but you know it's coming. Same with your business. This is a process that requires time and understanding of the best plan for growing your business. You have to feed it, water it, and pull the weeds. You can't just sit outside your garden during a drought and be disappointed because nothing grew.

You can become very wealthy with the right structure and the right strategy. And of course with the right information to plug into, along with the right PEOPLE to help you get there.

Here is the average level of MONTHLY income for each level of XanGo. They could be more or less depending on how fast your downline grows. This is just the "average" monthly income per level....it is NOT a guarantee. What you put in, determines what you will get out. The more you give, the more you will receive.

1K = $163
5K = $708
20K = $3,016
50K = $10,000
100K = $17,000
200K = $48,000
500K = $115,000

I'm currently at the 1K level - and I reached it in just 2 weeks of joining. Now I'm on my way to 5K.

What is it you want for yourself? Don't you see yourself with more money than you have now? Don't you visualize yourself doing the things you love, or having more time and freedom to spend with your family and friends, travelling or fishing, camping or shopping or whatever your desires are? Sit back and close your eyes for a moment. Imagine your day as it is now. Be yourself in your image. Don't be LOOKING at yourself. Get in there and hear what you hear. See what you see. Feel what you feel. Now, do it again, but it's 5 years down the road. Where are you now? Did you stay on the same path you were on 5 years ago? Are you still struggling?

Do you want to continue doing what you're doing - working at Walmart part-time, maybe you have a "good job" but you are at risk of losing it like so many others, maybe you're mowing your neighbor's lawn to pay for gas to and from job interviews, or having your kids sell lemonade at the end of your driveway? Are you content with that? Are you prepared for your retirement financially? Will social security be enough for you? Will it even be around when it's your turn? What are you going to do about it?

I highly recommend this company. Not because I'm part of it, but because of where they've been, where they are going, and what their vision and intentions are. No matter what you look into, whether it is Xango or something else, there will be someone, somewhere who thinks you're crazy or will tell you it won't work. And that's ok. Every single company on the planet will experience this. It does NOT matter what company it is. If someone who has been with a company that you look into, and they say that it doesn't work, ask them the following questions....

"Did you work it? Or did you sit back and watch?"

They probably won't respond....because they'll know exactly why they weren't successful at that point, and why "it didn't work" for them. They also need to understand that their failure isn't their fault at all, and there IS something they can do to change their experience. But they need to take the steps to get there. As they say....you can wish in one hand and, well...you know how it goes.

There are a LOT of products, which can be seen on the XanGo site. But the products you will get at first, unless you'd like to try something else, would be the XanGo Juice. You'd get 4 beautiful bottles - they really are pretty!! - of the juice which will last you one month. You only need to drink 1-3 ounces per day for optimal health.

The products are amazing and have incredible health benefits. Super high in antioxidants. They have scientific proof that the juice can even cure cancer. Now, I have no exprience with that personally, but a friend of mine had a person in her downline who was in stage 4 cancer. That person drank an entire bottle of XanGo Juice per day, and the cancer went away. I have something I can share regarding that information, I believe, so I'll have to find it and post it here.

Of course, XanGo (and other businesses like these) aren't allowed to make claims themselves on the health benefits of using their products. They have to say things like "This product MAY contribute to better respiratory health, better digestion, better heart, etc." They can't say it "WILL" cure whatever disease. This is because the FDA doesn't want people to NOT go to the doctor....they need people to spend thousands of dollars on drugs. Or they'd be out of business. A sad and unfortunate truth. So I can only give you testimonies from real people who have had real medical conditions that have improved by using these products.

All of the products are health related. There are many of them. Skin care, inner health, etc. If you look at the XanGo site, the prices listed there are the retail cost - if you were to buy them from a distributor. But if you join the company, you will get them at the wholesale cost. It's quite a savings.
