if you guys remember there were a few of us VET traders that did run our own contest in our threads and there were more complaints and whining and crying then you can shake a stick at.... then everyone started copying what we were doing it is was a free for all to see who could win whos $5... got a bit on the riduclous side so that is why i stopped doing contest... it wasnt fun jumping form one thread to another to try to keep up... the last one i was going to do was going to be for a new ipod or zune.. but just lost interest with all the whining of favoritism and what not... well maybe with a few questioning minds on here maybe we will see another contest soon.. i like the last one .. soem very funny videos!!

yeah, this is the internet and you never know if someone actually holds the raffle or chooses fairly between the contestants or just picks who he likes - a disadvantage of the cyberspace lol

yeah the contests were fun and it gave us something to do...a cool contest might bring some life back in here...

Um...I kinda doubt self-promotional contests are the subject of this thread....but another forum contest of SOME kind would be awesome!!!

There is little doubt in my mind that the powers that be could come up with something OR at least contribute if we actually shared some bright ideas...like say...in the "old" days, we debate what's under Gladiator's suit of armor and the one who gets it right wins...something! Fun...just plain ole silly fun...???
