Maybe I don't understand the question...is it why do we need a contest? To which I agree...although it was fun, something different, and involved little time from administration, it's not a matter of necessity:)

If the question was/is why don't we traders do a contest? lol...good luck with that & have fun...seemingly too many ids in place but hey...never know what you guys and gals can do, eh? :)

The first question was on this thread, any contest going to go on?
I then stated why don't we just put our own contest together? LOL

It was a suggestion, But since you made a good point (Like always LOL)
You know make me question having our own since we can't really know who is who any more.

But ideas come and go.

LOL! Oh...and I just absolutely adore you:) Reread your first sentence here...without adding any words:) That's what got me thinking to begin with...I AM easily confused and we all know it!!

Having a contest could always be fun, sure...I get a kick out of watching folks with their post challenges...some of the things they'd come up with - always good for a giggle, if nothing else...and there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with us making our own "fun"...and I'm behind that 110%...so, keep those ideas a'comin'...something's bound to strike fancies...and there ya go! :)

well, the posting threads were fun but since it slowed down forget it...As trader any contest you do will be seen as self promo and that is not allowed...plus you would have to come up with the prize money and it might be for nothing

but hey, brainstrom your ideas and we will trow them at the wall like spaghetti and see which one sticks (trying to use analogy here lol)

Shucks....as long as you're doing a posting contest on your own thread, well duh...it's gonna be promotional and that's what we do on our threads:) Sure, folks whine and complain...pickings are lean, folks are jumping ship after a single trade, so naturally, well...but it's not much different than having folks get bonuses...just a passing thought:)

lol...and can't wait to see what the spaghetti brings out......good one!
